Kristen Stewart?
I would but I have to get off in a few.
Because I have to get ready to go with school.
So I want to die.
And take the thread with me. (Except for Liam, of course).
Then sacrifice ourselves in the name of Kurumi.
And other things I'm too tired to go into detail.
Lewd things.
Sinfam things.
While serving under princess Recon. With Luna at his side.

Thank you, Impulse.
My last ditch effort would be forcing Shinsekai Yori upon you. If you think anything less than highly of it, then I will give up...
So I managed to get around this episode of Gangsta which has been my favourite so far and probably a 'benchmark' of the series where I'm can honestly say I loving it.
Exposition is great and my favourite kind, that sort of weaving between past and present is done really well. I'm not really fond of info dumps so when it comes to Gangsta that leaks information which adds to characterisation, development and setting it's pretty much all I want from a story and more.
Also I'm really glad they have slick ass animation. There's nothing I love more than choreographed fights ala ATLA: The Last Airbender.

Also Alex is proving to be so much more than what I thought she was going to be. Anime can have some awful female characters that tend to rely on ugh archetypes/tropes but she's a very real person with a lot going on.
Gangsta is getting lots of things right and so little wrong.
It's saving anime for me until stupid OPMan comes to save anime for everyone.

Really love how Gangsta feed us information and that new information make previous event look a bit different than how they were before. It's done so well proving how just knowing more about someone change how we think about them and their actions. Like Nic&Worick are "different" now than how I looked at them just a few episodes ago. Same characters but with new level of freshness each time. Gangsta be doing guud!

Kid with sword murdering a bunch of guys with assault rifles...
Well, that tells me everything I need to know.

That's going onto my list.
DAMN LIST IS LONGER THAN SIM'S FETISH LIST!

You know everyone in this thread predicted you would say something along those lines when talking about the action sequences. ![]()

Possibly the most predictable post that can be made. "Muh realizm"

Yes, yes and yes.
On a lesser extent it reminds me a lot of how Bebop and Watanabe tells his stories.
Spike being exactly just the type of character you get to learn more about as time goes on.

My initial reaction would be
lolstfu Lotion.
But look.... uuhhh... there's a reason?
Like, him and all the other dudes that can do that are called Twilights and they're supposed to be special or something.
So it gives creative license to the mangaka to do these kinds of things without seeming out of place to the setting.
Even bro and I were like 'what?' When Nico (the man in my gif and the boy in bro's gif) jumped ten feet in the air because it really felt out of place.
But the narrative does a good job at integrating that dose of crazy with extra added depth.
All the characters (including that kid cos that's a flashback) are adults.
So maybe uuhhh....
Don't judge a blah de blah by it's blah de blah?
****.

Hahah
That's so silly.
You can't add everything in your list, can you?

Sleep was overrated.
Nah I just love good sword fights there's such beauty in them. I should stop before people assume I have a sword fetish ![]()

Without any more context than what the gif is showing:
I see this sequence taking part in an alley and up close. Firearms are great and all, but unless you are VERY proficient, using them in CQC is hard. And assuming all those guys with guns belong together, they'd naturally be hesitant to fire when they could hit their own guys as the sword pal is right up in the mix.
Now, I would definately see this being a valid complaint if the guy was at a distance at the start and had to cover a distance long enough to allow the group with firearms to react, take aim and fire before he was right in their faces, in which case he should be dead on the ground with bullet holes all over as it usually goes when you run into a horizontal rain of bullets.
If anything, the guy jumping around like Yoda in the prequel episode #2 is a more glaring thing to take offense to if you're deadset on realism because there we've got all the context needed to judge.
Anyway, I got this on my priority backlog for right after Beelzebub and Tenjou Tenge (or sooner if I spontanously feel like it). I could really go with gritty, action show and Gangsta seems promising in that regard.

**** Mondays
And **** having to wake up at 5AM
I woke up a 5 once.
I fell asleep at 3.
I got lost and every freaking traffic light turned red. I was about to run them all over with my car. Moral of the story. I'm not a happy early bird especially with little sleep. I can function well. I'm just temperamental.

Well

At least a shot was given.
Wot?
Oh yeeeees, I promise a lot of deaths. Gruesome ones at that.
And I just came up with the perfect setting for this to work! Getting kinda scared this venture will be a long one, and not simply 5 pages. But hey, I think it will be tons of fun
Ohh..sounds promising.
A dark, dark story. Could you say it's grimdark?
If I'm in, I wanna be the guy who sez "screw this magic bullshit" and just whips out 10 gattling guns (dodge THIS) or poison gas. You either live or you die. No one has time for this "fair fight" BS. That doesn't mean I wouldn't offer my enemy a chance to surrender...
