You could also watch...
...
..
.
Clannad.
yes Clannad is light hearted
If you consider a show that can make grown men cry like babies for 30 minutes until their eyes hurt and have no more tears left light.

Nope! I remember Isi posting rainymustang.gif in response to Clannad!

What kind of Ungodly do you have in mind? Recently, I've finished watching Jormungand and season 1 of Slayers, but... I don't know, they have this awkward quality level that leaves little room for conversation. Not good enough that I'd try to convince anyone else to watch them, but not bad enough that I feel like ranting about them either. If you want something worth hate-watching, you could try Tokyo Ghoul, Elfen Lied or Burst Angel.
Maybe just bad, not ungodly. I'm not that desperate.
A friend once recommended Tokyo Ghoul... is it that bad?

To be fair I only cried like a baby for like 30 or so minutes, but then again I'm quite the emotionally hardened individual.

If you're looking for good anime that gets bad later but is still okay to watch because it's fun.
Then Death Note dubbed.
And to think it was my favouritethingevar back in the day.
But anyway.
Why do all that... when you can watch more godly shows?
There's still so much to bust a nut over.

Tokyo Ghoul has the potential to be good but it never hits that good bar. You see it nearly reach that bar and then fall short. If you go in with no expectations of it being good and you'll have a much better chance to enjoy it.

As for you guys and SnO, it's not as terrible as it seems. As much as it pains me to admit, it was watchable. But, the threshold for it becoming watchable comes in after way too long. Every fanservice episode was cringeworthy for me... But, at the same time, when they took the plot seriously, it turned out to be somewhat enjoyable. Also, watch the dub. The VA for the sadist melts your soul like butter...
But fuckin' hell dude.
It's not that.
I'm sure it's fun to watch for the shitz and giggles.
But Impulse worship's the fuckin' thing like it was some Shakespearian masterpiece lmao.
Talks about its characters like they were from a Thom Harris novel.
Compares Ikat*ts to f*cking HOMURA.
Then "lolnahman preference bruh."
Yeah, I'm sure if you like that sort of thing.
But c'mooooooooon.

I might be willing to give it a shot if time wasn't so limited and I didn't already have so many other things I'm certain I'll actually get something out of it

Yeah... I'm pretty sure one of the episodes of squid girl had me shed a tear. Not much hope for me there then.

For light hearted stuff, you should take a trip to Neo-Venezia.
It's so light hearted, you might overdose. Okay maybe it's not that light hearted. It has some touching moments too, and depending on the kind of viewer you are, it might make you tear up at some point.
Rah & Puddi, you done with Aria the Origination yet? Is there finally someone else in this thread who's watched the whole thing apart from me?

Perhaps, but if you judged My Little Pony by the same metric, the fan art might lead one to believe that the show is some seriously kinky stuff. Normal shows can have ridiculous fans.
WTF! Who would buy this?

This we already know the answer to.
A better question would be, why quote it back for another page?! And after a successful exorcism too...
*sigh* Here's what I found whilst looking up Chuunibyou. Perhaps it can salvage this page.
