I couldn't see Windows 10 doing me any favors despite having free upgrades for it on both my laptop and desktop. I was worried about it making older games like Tie Fighter even harder to get to run.

From what little I've experimented with sub VLR, I like English dub VLR better tbh.
First off, the subs in the Japanese version aren't really a direct translation I think, they're just the subs for the dub. So some of the lines are kinda funny when you understand a few Japanese words.
Second, Clover sounds pretty much how I expect her to sound in Japanese media for someone like her which is not necessarily daijoubu.
Sub Phi seems to take the emotionless persona a little more seriously than dub Phi and it just doesn't work as well for me.
Also I've noticed it's weird reading subs with an unvoiced protagonist, that makes my inner voice substitute and I get this weird dual language conversation going on in my head.
He did say he'd watch My Bride is a Mermaid for Colaman.
And I watched a few episodes of it already.

Ah, good to know. I've yet to actually find something that's notably decreased in quality between seasons.

5th ending for HxH is way better than 4th.
Imo it's easily the best one. So good!
Season 2 isn't terrible. It definitely has its moments and it introduces a character I rather liked. Just did a few things that didn't grab me.
My biggest complaint in Chu2 is the side characters. Most of them are likeable enough I guess but not that interesting to me at least. Really all I want from the series is lots of the two main characters and I'll be happy. Also the ending of S2 was... Yeah you'll see if you watch it.
Yeah, season 2 didn't per say do something bad. It just didn't do enough good which is a shame but at least we got the amazing first season and one heck of a couple!
