Got through SSY's first episode, one hell of an introduction.

There's definitely an eerieness to the school itself, I get the feeling its history will be making plenty more appearances. The character banter didn't do much for me, but it may get better from here on in - warming up to the characters would probably help that, assuming they don't mysteriously vanish by the time I do.

I'll try a marathon of it during the weekend and see how many episodes I can blaze through.

So a while ago the topic of Angel Beats and the character of Yurippe (Yuri Nakamura) was brought up in light of the end of the Best Girl contest.

As she was a character I brought up as one I hoped would go far. Though Kanade does tend to steal attention from here.

 

I couldn't give a reason why she was my absolute favorite character from Angel Beats then since it had been a while since I had seen the series.

But this Respect thread for her should clear up why Yurippe is awesome and underrated.
