[Lotion Soronarr]

I'm watching little anime lately. Have games to play and lots of work, so I'm just wrapping up Gintama.

My favorite characters are the Shinsengumi:


Gotta ove the Gorilla (Kondo), the Sadist (Okita) and the mayo-obsessed demon (Toshiro).

Love them far more than the 3 main characters. The entire show is downright bizzare.





Of course, one cannot forget the masochist stalker-ninja-assasin

It's one of the few shows I'm watching right now and it's a bad adaptation of the games.

It skipped 95% of the first game and what they have shown of the story is a mess.  

More then half of the stuff the characters talk about will go right over your head unless you've played the game's story mode, and if you done that this story is still a mess because some scenes in this show either never happened or had different character in the scene, like the scenes with Ragna and Lambda in ep. 8 never happened, it was Mokoto that talked to Lambda.

I will give it one thing though, my brother and I haven't laughed so much at an anime in a while.

I'm going to watch it to the end just to see how the handle the ending of the second game.

I have many questions to ask, to avoid the spoilers of wikipedia:

Is it mainly comedic or the main focus is another genre?
Are these guys part of a high school fancy group or are they a gang or something? How much power they have?
What exactly are they doing (job, study, work)? What are their hobbies?
Do they have any kind of adventure outside their city?

Just watched the 3rd Madoka movie and all I have to say is wow. Even End of Evangelion didn't make me this depressed.

Maybe some Samurai Flamenco will cheer me up

Comedic and other stuff.
Don't expect the 4th wall to say in tact for long, given that they break it every 5 minutes.

the basuic premise is: Edo (the land of Samurai .. and basicly the entire Earth) has been conquered by aliens. Earth is basicly a vassal state. The main characters are a trio working for a Odd Jobs company, which is lead by the man characters, a former samurai with a dark past. You know the cliche.

The Shinsengumi are the police of Edo more or less. Except these guys are a troublesome and violent lot that usually does more property damage then the terrorists.

What do they do? Anti-terrorist activity, policing, trouble and lots of explosions.


Yes. Sometimes they travel to other places. One guy even traveled around the galaxy to find a planet with some smokes (since cigarates have been banend on Earth for a week)

Well, I got done watching Mirai Nikki yesterday and despite some issues I had with it I thought it was a pretty cool series. What I didn't get though, was in the end, which character was it who had the power to overwhelm and destroy the world's most shocking monster?

So yeah, that new One Piece chapter was pretty f**king sweet.

I've been trying to get into the ones I used to watch on Toonami when I was little. I'm really into Naruto Shippuden but I'm also about 40 episodes into One Piece. And I've watched a few episodes of Tenchi Muyo and Sailor Moon.

Oh and I love Miyazaki movies.
