I think some people might have listened to my recommendations, as few as I do of those; I don't watch as much anime as the rest have -- I know Milan probably wouldn't even have jumped into anime if I hadn't recommended Catherine to him a while back.. at least I think so.

It's hard to get through the hefty Anthology section. Very dry reading full of unlikeable protagonists.

 

It picks up when you get to the New Testament and there's a proper narrative tho.

The 6th ending is pretty good song wise but it's pretty uneventful to look at for HxH.  Even though it's the second half of 5th ending song.

That is the worst way to get me to want to watch something (personally) if I wanted to read a synopsis I'd google it. A recommendation is meant to be why you enjoyed it and why I'd enjoy it. Eventually you can build enough trust with me to just say "You. This anime. Watch." and I'll do it.

 

Hell I don't think I've ever recommended anything mainly because I take my recommendations way too seriously. I'm more liberal with my suggestions though.

Uh, okay, let me try. Hey Dio, you should be watching Cross Ange. It's a fun show filled with humongous mecha, dragons, and romance. But while being fun, it never lets the viewer stop thinking, as it covers serious issues such as the ability of all people to dehumanize their adversaries, the potential for abuse built into the rigid hierarchies of militaries, and the perverse writhing madness at the core of the philosophy of shock and awe in warfare. I have seen other animes attempt to portray issues like these, but never in such a mature and thoughtful manner. It is obvious that Sunrise has a great deal of respect for Cross Ange's audience and their intelligence. The animations are pretty, and Ange is a protagonist like none other, truly remarkable. Even if it were possible to hate everything else about this show, you could just watch it to see her, and the still be fully satisfied. I rate Cross Ange.... http://bit.ly/1Pnl9MZ out of 10
