Though I feel kinda bad having pressured you into keeping that deal knowing now how stripped for time you are...

And I wish someone had made a deal with me back then for PMMM.  Better late than never at least!

 

Tbh I wasn't entirely expecting him to take the deal when I made it since I had tried to push PMMM onto LP a couple times before with no luck XD Nah I don't regret watching it. It's definitely enjoyable enough when you get into it and Based Rumple is an absolutely incredible villain.

 

It just taught me not to make agreements I can't easily follow up with X3 I felt bad because it took me about a month after I made the deal to actually get watching it because I was trying to wrap up some other stuff. That was also around the time though that my free time started dwindling away, shortly before that deal I use to be able to watch a lot more Like all of this year I've probably watched about the same amount that I watched in about the first 2 months of last year lol

They remove content to condense it more so the TV version is superior but they're still alright. It mostly fits into movie format quite well and is intended for people who already have seen the series.

I do feel the movies feel a bit weird the pacing while not being bad felt a bit forced at points. But then again I did just watch the first quarter of it right after watching the series.

Isi if you want FMA go to ANN? They bash FMAB on a daily bases, defend FMA and other nonsense.

Worse is how it was ignored at the academy award for best animation and how the judges were like

 

"Loldidn'twatchit, doesn't look like something we'd watch. Frozen wins!"

 

(Don't get me wrong, not bashing Frozen. That was a good movie but it can't hold a candle to TRS in my books)

Oh don't get me wrong, Clannad AS is sad, but majority of their stuff is forced emotion that alot of times does not work.Charlotte is so far being enjoyable but I'm expecting typical KEY to show its head and cause something to not reach its potential.

My most memorable experience with KEY is Clannad.

 

Though I've watched Angel Beats and Kanon.

 

But didn't shed a tear in those.

 

But yeah, don't think I'll ever forget watching Clannad + After Story.

 

That was sum good anime.

Keep in mind this is really just me coming into anime after Death Note, Code Geass and all that bull. So I definitely didn't expect something to hit me that hard xD

After story was fantastic.

 

Angel Beats had emotional moments almost as large as the plot holes.

Tho about the LotGH "remake" I don't envy Production I.G. They are tackling something massive that has alot of hurdles from LotGH being an extremely faithful adaption to its classical music usage and strong cast. I also feel sorry for the actor who will voice Yang, because he has a massive shoe to get into.

Part of LOTGH's magic is its... well, so as to not copypasta the words of another fella, let's just link it.

 

 

I'm not a big expert on the industry as such so my words might ring hollow but will today's market really support something like LOTGH? A 110 episode OVA series that took over a decade to adapt and is essentially a very no nonsense, non "stylised" war drama?

 

I mean, this doesn't get away with being serious like other stuff does. I'm betting a lot of FS/N's sales come from stupid Otakus who like the waifu material and stupid power level discussions.

 

Hell, I'm betting Shirobako's sales consist mostly of the anime's (smart) choice to have a moe as f*ck large female cast.

 

 

These are smart design choices I'm guessing were included to make for a wider audience and in addition, did not compromise their works.

 

Hell wasn't eroge added into FS/N just to help sales?

 

But when your cast is filled with grizzly dudes who sit all day and talk about long strategies and politics... where is your selling point?

 

Then again I could be wrong and Japan might love this. It did have a sort of remake (remastered anime,) a cafe and even a musical and its books did sell 15 million copies.

 

So the legacy is there.

 

Just basing this on what I know so far of the anime industry in general.
