What "FUNimation channel" are we talking about? Like, on YouTube? I wasn't aware they HAD a channel.
I've just been using Hulu, which is almost perfect, except that it doesn't seem to have ANY dubs. Not even the popular ones.
No, they have an actual TV channel. It's 24 hours a day 7 days a week and it's nothing but FUNmation dubs of animes. It's awesome.

I didn't know they had a TV channel either. I mean, BECK was on G4 sometimes, and I think there's FUNimation stuff on Toonami, but now that I think about it, that's pretty much the only way I've been watching anime up untill I got Netflix and Hulu.
I guess it just never occured to me that an anime channel even existed...

a series of interconnected short stories..though I felt it peaked too early with Lucifer Rising (with a clash between science and religion as people investigate a mysterious tenth planet and people in the expedition start dying..)

They have had other dubs on the channel in the past, not just Funimation dubs.Ghost Lightning wrote...

Which is the best between Code Geass, Trigun, Eureka 7, and Bakuman?
(And I just know I'm forgetting something.)

Unhappy in the sense that it was a poor ending or unhappy in the sense that it didn't turn out how you would have preferred?Logan Cloud wrote...
I just wanted to say that I finished Death Note, and I couldn't be more unhappy with how it ended.

I'm of the latter variety; didn't like the fact that my fave ended up losing but accepted it for what it was.

Don't worry, everyone feels the same way about the ending. The creators of Death Note had a much better idea of what they were doing when it came to their next series Bakuman.Logan Cloud wrote...

Anyway time for some anime news.
Toriko has a new ending theme...
Why do you have to make Toriko's cast look so stupid Toei? Why?
New Naruto movie actually looks like it could be somewhat good.
http://www.saiyanisl...ew-153-trailer/ Alternate reality plots can be great if done right.
One Piece is getting a two hour remake of the Arlong Park arc.
http://www.animenews...o-air-in-august Cool since that's the arc that gets people hook on the series, it being shoter with better animation will most likely help get more people into the series. Don't f**k it up Toei.
Speaking of One Piece it's getting a new movie.
And Kuzan is going to be in it, so now people are going crazy over if this is canon or not, because this will be the first time Kuzan shows up since the time-skip.

But anyway Hinata looks cool in the movie.
Oh and I forgot one more bit of news, Viz is going to have a 24 hour anime service for game consoles. http://www.animenews...or-game-console
It could be interesting.

Hmmm, I would say Trigun, followed closely by Code Geass

Lol "only 366 episodes". Not a lot of anime get to last that long. Bleach had a good run but it's about time it checks out now.The Mad Hanar wrote...

All Naruto movies thus far have been completely worthless, but i'm actually interested in this one too.
Then again Kishimoto clearly isn't taking it very seriously, that, or he forgot that genetics do not work this way.
But i guess we'll see.

Code Geass, then Bakuman and then Trigun. I haven't seen Eureka 7.

lol What do you mean "only" 366 episodes? Is that sarcasm?
The only anime serieses that have lasted that long that i can think of are Dragon Ball(on it's entirety), Naruto, One Piece, Detective Conan, Pokemon and i believe there was another one, but i don't remember.
That it lasted that long should be considered a privilege.

Must avoid nostalgia rage!
And i said DB on it's entirety, that is to say, db going through the original all the way to GT.

Yeah, you're right. I've never watched the original Dragonball series because I can't find a site with it, and GT never captured my attention like Z did. DBZ had great arcs and fights, Bleach had superior characters though
