Well to be fair there's more to the choice then art style/animation...
True that, but just say'in. Unicorn >>>> Frozen in my opinion.
And we all know how they didn't win. The powers that be at these things aren't going to sully themselves even watching childish mecha or magical girl films.
And I have to disagree there. Gundam carries a certain theme to it. A theme that tensions are brewing between the Feddies and Zeon, that one small thing could have a huge impact. Gundam isn't some sing along child's film. There's actually some food for thought in Gundam besides "War is bad and that it takes it's toll on everyone" There are political views in it and really one side isn't really good. For example, the way the Federation oppressed the Spacenoids (This is common knowledge, so no real spoiling here) yet at the same time Zeon dropped a colony on the Earth (Sieg Zeon!). Both have committed their fair share of atrocities and such, but there's good people in both sides, just fighting. Then you have someone who has to deal with the harsh realities of war. Because they are a Newtype, they have to fight.
However, I do in all honesty Gundam has fallen. AGE and GnR especially. I just couldn't finish them. That's sad considering how I love Gundam and want to soak up as much info as I can. I'm hoping Iron Blooded Orphans actually doesn't suck.
Yes, Gundam Unicorn, I've only seen an hour of this program so far, but so far the main character has shown several irritating stalker traits.
Not really. He's a Newtype and he's far, FAR better than Kira Yamato (Who constantly contradicts himself) Plus there are some people who see a certain girl and they instantly fall in love or something.
