His face is perfect for the situation... it looks really apathetic XD

I still stand my grounds that Olaf should be tossed in a volcano >.>

I'm a terrible person though so don't mind me..

And... I acknowledged your existence. One of the best posts I've read this page.  Keep this up and I may not destroy you when I get annoyed with humanity ^.^

Also I despise musicals in movies one of the reasons I despise Frozen. I just find them a boring time filler. Though musical theatre is something else entirely.

Well to be fair there's more to the choice then art style/animation...

True that, but just say'in. Unicorn >>>> Frozen in my opinion.

And we all know how they didn't win. The powers that be at these things aren't going to sully themselves even watching childish mecha or magical girl films.

And I have to disagree there. Gundam carries a certain theme to it. A theme that tensions are brewing between the Feddies and Zeon, that one small thing could have a huge impact. Gundam isn't some sing along child's film. There's actually some food for thought in Gundam besides "War is bad and that it takes it's toll on everyone" There are political views in it and really one side isn't really good. For example, the way the Federation oppressed the Spacenoids (This is common knowledge, so no real spoiling here) yet at the same time Zeon dropped a colony on the Earth (Sieg Zeon!). Both have committed their fair share of atrocities and such, but there's good people in both sides, just fighting. Then you have someone who has to deal with the harsh realities of war. Because they are a Newtype, they have to fight.

However, I do in all honesty Gundam has fallen. AGE and GnR especially. I just couldn't finish them. That's sad considering how I love Gundam and want to soak up as much info as I can. I'm hoping Iron Blooded Orphans actually doesn't suck.

Yes, Gundam Unicorn, I've only seen an hour of this program so far, but so far the main character has shown several irritating stalker traits.

Not really. He's a Newtype and he's far, FAR better than Kira Yamato (Who constantly contradicts himself) Plus there are some people who see a certain girl and they instantly fall in love or something.

It's me though. Holding Asuna. On the inside I'm pumped as ****.

And miss out on all that merchandizing? Nevaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

But yeah I agree.

And terrible Grandma Facebook posts.

I almost mentioned him instead. :P And of course not.

Disney conversation in the anime thread... I approve.

I like The Hans a lot for going all meta and fooling the audience.

He's no Jafar or anything obviously, but other villains don't even pretend for a minute that they're not arseholes. I enjoyed being strung along the whole time like that and watching them mess with old tropes.

And I totally get not liking Olaf. Shrieking comic relief characters aren't going to work out for everyone.

Though I have to ask given the comparison, whats your opinion on Bebe?  :P As Bebe. As opposed to anything else.

Hans I liked up until the reveal. After that the story just kind of went as far as they could with him.

Bebe is alright. I like her derpy faces and such although tbh I think she was mostly added in for Mamis sake. Doesn't particularly play a large role on the story one way or another imo but still a fun enough character. There's a scene/manga panel of hers that makes me laugh quite a bit but I can't find it offhand because my usual TRS manga site is down.

Still I respect and share her love for cheese! :D

*goes on a massive rant on how the musical sections in the movie actually helped move the plot along unlike now*

Every time I see a minions post on FB I want to set it on fire.

I just don't like Disney or any of that stuff. But that's also how I feel.

Also, and Clones, you must really love someone when you kiss them when they haven't brushed their teeth in two whole years.

Kirito and Asuna were a cute couple though. I'll give them that.

I saw Bebe more to enhance Mami as a character because my one issue with Mami in outside Rebellion was I felt she was too much of a plot device, where Rebellion fixed this by giving her good character and moments, and Bebe just helped.

Hades is the reason why Hercules is one of my favorites.

And the fact James Woods reprises the role in Kingdom Hearts makes it even better.

I still want a sequel about Hades and Persephone. I think that would be fantastic.

Fixer Upper is what ruined Frozen for me.

Even the Gargoyles from Hunchback didn't do that. But's also because despite how different it is from the novel Hunchback of Notre Dame is top.

Ah don't worry, you've got me all wrong there. When I say childish, I mean from the perspective of a media has-been running these award shows, trying to convince themselves that most films out of Japan that aren't a 'Ghibli' have no place at their 'prestigious' award shows.

You think I'd call PMMM childish after seeing it?  :P Its got a 15 rating over here in the UK, and with bloody good reason.

At least the Gargoyles as much as I hate them had a point, half the crap in Frozen and nowadays just feels tacked on.

As a big fan of the series, it just proves my point of why I won't trust Japanese to determine what quality is for anime.

Will agree with their tastes in things not being right..

They just eat anything up if it has Disney in it!

Argh..

They also don't take away from how gorgeous and pretty serious Hunchback is overall.

Spoiler

For real this movie is fantastic.

That's the same one :P

Oh. Then I apologize.

And yeah, PMMM is something children cannot fully comprehend. Heck, I'd have to watch it another time or two before I could reach more of an understanding about it.

Ugh....

Even if it has amazing art style or animation they'll take it over a master piece that is PMMM and UC Unicorn...

So depressing...
