Who spoilt it?

I didn't say shyt.

...

I think.

It was this thread, seeing as how this is the only place I've really heard much on it. It was one of those cases where it wasn't directly said but could easily figure out what people were saying.

HxH is on my list...

I just have a viewing order which must be maintained at all costs! So HxH will come later...

Well this is the larger things I'm pretty sure I know

I know other minor things but those are the two big things. Am I wrong?

HxH will still very much surprise you even with awareness of some of the things that happen within it. The arc is super long and so much happens within it that it would be quite scary if you even managed to remember 10% of all that whenever you get around to watching.

That and without the full context.. yeah things are very different with context as usual

Oh yeah. Those things are deliberately predictable. I spotted them too but they are no less effective. Deliberately predictable is practically the ant arc's tagline with is handling of cliches and tropes.

Unless you're a sociopath like Milan who takes after Kotomine-kun then yes.

King is somebody you will adore.

? OK well either way me watching HxH is more based on whether or not I'll get to it with my lack of time.rather then based on what I know anyways.

Those lines about what power is for and the one thing that can sway him really interested me

King is a ton of things.

Including that.

And some more.

Seriously in my top 5 characters of all time.

Hey. What is everbody up to? Is Geth still here (sorry for my oblivious questions every time I revisit the thread).

I myself am at the end of my South Korean trip. Was here for a month. Had real fun. Finished a few manhwa and a couple of hundred chapters of One Piece in the process. The manga I love now, though I still dislike the anime.

Even went to an One Piece exhibition here. Lots of sketches, even more of statues, figurines and an ace memorial to make pictures with. My girlfriend really liked posing as chopper. Made me a happy sir.

Sad the manhwakas (is that a word??) of the Breaker are taking a break with it in favor of a boring sideproject. And sad I'm still not able to read manhwa in Korean. A couple of more years and I'm getting there.

How are you guys? Glad to see Sim and the rest of you again.

Glad to see you're still alive! And yeah Geth is still around when he's not busy going to cons to experience all the smells that can be found there.

Doing good myself, done with work yesterday so now to prepare for uni and that "preparing" might involve some manga reading.. anime and other very vital things!

Yo Ero.

You can see that we're keeping your awful thread alive xD

Uhh... reading OP myself and loving it. Wouldn't watch the anime after Geth told me toei put canon scenes in their filler.

Like lol wtf?

Earthy is being awesome and watching awesome stuff.

Bro is bro and Chewin is is 95 this month.

And yes, Geth is still alive.

Glad to see you around.

Yar, I know the same spoilers as Isi and worried for the very same reason. Nice to get a bit of reassurance that it won't kill what makes the Ant Arc amazing.

I'll tie this in to something I've said before. Rebellion spoilers:

So if the Ant Arc can feel the same way despite the known spoilers, I'll be okay with it.

Well the spoilers aren't what make the Ant Arc great.

It's everything behind them and more.

So if you suspect anything.

It doesn't matter.

Because damn is this arc amazeballs.

What really makes the Ant Arc great is the same kind of stuff that made us write all those novels about PMMM. Since that takes effort, thinking and might just not be possible for everyone to do it's kinda been overshadowed by the more silly, easy to play-by-play #BlameGon2K15 and #Bendtheknee but those that have watched the Ant Arc know what another viewer talk about when they say that they loved the Ant Arc

Wonderful to hear, Rah. And glad that you're doing good and are hanging around this place. Gotta keep that vitality strong.

Uuh, reading you all discuss HxH I remembered my conflicted feelings towards the new anime. The '99 one I loved so the more colorful new one needed getting used to. I got to like the adventurous vibe though. Until they started to mess everything up before the Yorknew arc. Or even when introducing Killua's family. Anyway, one of these days I should definitely take it up again.

The '99 version is still a fave even though it ended before Greed Island and the Ant arc.

I don't think I could watch a HxH without a King.

But I'll give it a go some time in the future.

Like I will give FMA a go too.

Without so much as a spoiler I'll say this.

We witness true character evolution.

This is rare for me when I see 'antagonistic' characters.

He made me believe. I think he can make you believe too.

What's amazing for me too outside of King, is I see it in multiple 'antagonistic' characters that 'evolve' from this arc.

Its good that you could still enjoy TRS even when spoiled. It speaks volumes about the quality of that moment's build up.
