I mean, at it's core, Monogatari consisted of thoughtful dialogues, wordplay, and interesting characters, all being frequently interrupted by awkward fanservice, while SnO seems to consist of generic, monotonous fluff being frequently interrupted by awkward fanservice, so I guess they're sort of similar?
