I think the only voice I like is Speedwagon's. Dio's lacks the charisma and Jonathan lacks that intensity.
But we all know the only way to be sure of Speedwagon's VA quality... and that is to hear him be afraid.
George is fancy af tho.

That's the thing that worries me. It'll probably lose some of its strength because it's not Engrish 
If I were the dub actor I would try to replicate the Engrish as best I can.
But yeah, Dio could be better.

The Jojo dubs will never reach the epicness that is the subs.
One thing that has always stood out with Jojo are the overreactions of the characters. Joseph for example with his "OH MY GOD or OH NOOOOO". I don't think the english cast will ever be able to replicate that.
Ofcourse that doesn't mean the dub will be bad. But I shall always recommend people the original.
Watching all the clips I have it's a mixed bag for sure.
Though Part 2 is fairly solid (Even if Joseph sounds alot like Numbah 1 from KND)
They did the epic finale pretty damn well tho.
Cesar's Generic Italian accent is a bit out there tho.
Liam finish Season one before you watch these clips.
Oh they also kept in the most important line.

And based Bryce Papenbrook's horrible Italian accent is great.
In my view going with these accents, even the over the top accents, works pretty well for the dub.

Light hearted fluff indeed...! That one scene had me more on edge than the whole of PMMM and FMAB combined.
