I can't defeat Android 16 and 17 in the main storyline (alongside Trunks). I realized flying so much is good though. I'm level 35.
Any tip how to defeat them?
If you're saiyan. Go SS and use your ulti... repeatedly.
If you're anything else... go with Clones' advice
Don't know what you're planning Vroom but please keep Liam in one piece.
Let's be realistic. Vroom should at least TRY.
Clones favorite Idol girl is Azusa, right?
Yes.
Don't hate my cuz I rated Chimera ant lower than cell saga. the difference was marginal. Like 8/10 and 8.5/10
And I think Gon has redeemed himself at the end. I was p*ssed off that Killua stole so many episodes about himself and his family in HxH.
Yo! You're alive. Long time no see.

It's like you don't even hyori ittai
I can get why someone would dislike the ant arc.
It does have a different feeling than anything that came before.
There is also the pacing issues. I get why they are there but they are no less annoying.

Yeah it's called being better.
As much as I love everything else.
And the arc itself being slow af.
Nothing can beat moments like these
But I'm being a huge fanboy so don't mind me.
Yeah it is better.
But what I mean with different is that it felt a lot darker and overall not the same as the previous arcs in the anime.
Cool gifs.

To your second point.
Yeah that was kinda the point.
Haha YYH final arc doing some Ant Arc things with the whole 'are humans any better?' Theme.
I'm not looking forward to the not really an ending ending of the manga.
Once I get to the anime I wonder if it'll change.
ETA
I bet Toagshi had trouble putting this up on Jump.

Chihaya then Azusa right after.Clones favorite Idol girl is Azusa, right?

EXCUSE YOU?!?!!?!??!?! HOW DARE YOU SPEAK SUCH BLASPHEMOUS WORDS!!!!

There wasn't enough episodes about that kids messed up family tbh.
Gon kinda killed the ant arc a bitm
That's cos you have a bias towards kids.
Which is fine.
But Gon was a great character and his role in the Ant Arc was a breath of fresh air.
Chihaya then Azusa right after.
Ah but Azusa was the waifu one, right?

True.
And I don't think that the Gon moments in the ant arc were bad, far from it.

I got so irritated with Gon in that arc, but I chose to see it as an opportunity for Killua to have massive characterization. Overall, Gon was a pretty damn boring character, for me.

Gon felt like he was supposed to be a goody two shoes kid that just had a very bad day/weeks/months
His immediate situation I can understand what he did but the lead up to it and everything else was pathetic.
Which is why his actions in the arc were great on a story telling point of view.
If Togashi wanted us to route for Gon he wouldn't have developed the situation the way he did.
He's frustrating and annoying because people forget that Gon's this 14 year old kid who has dangerous views on the world (Kite points this out early on.) He's constantly selfish and naive without even knowing it.
However when those traits turn from happy go lucky Gon to f*cking malicious and malevolent we see the other side to him.
Sh*t man, I've said it before. The Ant Arc is amazing because of these things and how well they work with the themes involved. Gon is being entirely human; he's not fighting for anyone or some higher ideal, he's fighting entirely for himself for his own reasons and unfortunately it came down to his darker side coming out. It's a huge breath of fresh air when the shounen protagonist's role blurs to the point where we could see him as the antagonist.
Hell, even I got annoyed, I hated Gon in the Arc, especially when he threatened to kill you know who. But duuuuuudes, mah anime peeps from afar! That's what makes the story as great as it is!
