Clones, I watched the first 4 episodes from idolmaster today and I like it. Progress will be slow though since I'm reading Berserk + watching 14 currently airing anime and some other nonsense.

 

But nonetheless I like what I'm seeing so far.

 

Takane and Hibiki are the two idols I like the most right now.

Oh, and Earthbound? If you want to watch something so bad it's beyond godlike, there's always Cross Ange. I recommend you watch it right now.

lmao badass Shirou is best Shirou after Pornstar Shirou.

 

And I'm done with Kill la Kill.

 

It honestly feels a bit daft to keep coming back here after I finish a show up and having nothing to say bar singing its praises.

 

But... eh. I loved it. I could perhaps look at these shows more critically and find a few negatives... The sometimes lazy animation or it taking a while to truly 'get' the show in Kill la Kill's case. But it'd just be a bit pointless when considering that, like PMMM and FMAB before it, my personal enjoyment of it rates at a solid 10 in my book.  

 

It did take a while to grow on me, but I pushed through the rest of it very quickly as soon as it did.

 

A top soundtrack, a strangely likeable cast of characters, both a thematic and visual style entirely of its own... And there's even a surprising amount of deeper meaning and clever metaphor going on underneath all the immediate zaniness and fan service. Never judge a book by its cover, after all. 

 

It did also manage the difficult task of eliciting more laughs than Chu2 has thus far. (Dead on with that one, Sim.)

Though it of course wasn't satisfied without a hit to the feels before it finished up. Senketsu.   

 

All in all, it has me wondering how far I'll get through this list before I find something I don't love, let alone enjoy.

 

 

KLK is amazing.

 

Peeps who don't like KLK are the same who don't like JoJo.

 

Cos they don't 'get' it.

The bad guy's army is composed of child soldiers, many of which will die on screen, so yes. It's an older anime, but it checks out really well. It is exceedingly dark. The dub was good too. 

 

The batshit crazy villain might cause you to feel fear, he is extremely crazy.

 

There aren't many villains that can make me hate them as much as this jerk.
