Just so I get you. You just watched the best fights and bits? Not the whole thing?

 

If so, duuuuuuuuuude. The best moments in any form of media aren't based on the scene itself, its the buildup to the scene that makes it that glorious. It's like judging Stardust Crusaders based on the best beatdown alone.

Steely Dan beatdown wasn't great because he got repeatedly punched. It was great because if all the abuse he heaped at Jotaro, there was this build up to we know what's going to happen and every moment Steely Dan makes Jotaro suffers just increases the pleasure gained  from it.

I think Lotion will really like Mushishi!

 

Mushishi has no kid protagonists, has a great setting, the main character is emotionally, ethically and morally mature with a great sense of professionalism... the stories can be very deep and no one kicks each other's ass or does anything out of the ordinary outside the entire concept of 'Mushi' which is pretty damn interesting.

 

I love that they're a supernatural element but still embody characteristics of flora and fauna and such.

 

So watch Mushishi.
