I promise. Toradora was my favorite anime for a long time until I discovered Watamote.

I can say that I'm personally a fan of Gunslinger Girl. The OST is amazing. I'd say more but my shift is about to start. If I remember on lunch, I'll expand on this.
And if the only thing he likes about it is the OST, it was time well spent telling him to look it (yes, the OST is AMAZING! Kokia 
).
I say Darker than Black, if you liked Black Lagoon and Evangelion, especially the anime ending of Evangelion.

Kami Nomi zo Shiro Sekei episode #1, first minute, before the opening starts and I already guffawed.
Good direction.
They are OK as far as adaptation goes.
The three movies captures the essence of the Golden Arc, but leaves a lot to be desired though. I enjoyed them mostly due to having certain scenes that I liked from the manga being animated, but not much apart from that.
A shame but doesn't sound too bad so I'll still watch them so I can see some of those scenes animated.
Like the one Sim posted a page ago or so.

In other news, Kami Nomi zo Shiro Sekai is funny. Not quite as deconstructing as I hoped it would be, but it's only been the first episode, so maybe it'll pick up.

The goal is to make a series of four movies that more accurately represent the spirit of Berserk and yet retain an exciting cinematic pace. There have been hundreds of minor edits to make scenes and conversation flow better as well as major additions to improve character development and plot.
Sounds omoshiroi.
Might watch that when I've finished the manga.
