Glad you enjoyed S1 of Chu2 so much Ness (going to call you that now since it has a better ring to it)

I have a huge soft spot for well done introverts myself and Yuuta and Rikka are just so adorable together. I was rather surprised myself at how emotional it got me near the end. Can't remember if I cried or not but I know there are parts that really got the emotions high.

 

Yup, I was surprised too. Definitely not what I was expecting.

 

There was one particular scene (only about half way through actually) that hit insanely close to home. Which I haven't had a piece of media do to that extent in a very  long time. PMMM probably came the closest.

 

If a show goes as far as to give me cause for introspection, I can say without a doubt that its going down as an all time favourite. Really, another?

 

So a top pick as per usual, but thanks particularly to everyone who recommended that one.

 

I recommend watching the first bit of the movie. Mainly for the intro and more cute cringe >.>

An episodic adventure revolving around Ginko, a Mushi Master (Mushishi) who wanders from place to place resolving people's problems with mushi, a species of organism that cause many fantastical problems for Ginko to fix. They're a great concept that's done really well as they operate like bacteria, fauna or flora in the most supernatural ways leaving you satisfied with the causes and an original way for the author to grant himself a lot of leeway for his imagination to go wild.

 

The stories range from heart warming to pretty f*cking dark but overall it's one of the chillest "deep" anime I've found and can easily make it to anyone's top ten list.
