But seriously, what would you rather have me sit down to watch when I have free time LotGH or HxH? Not saying I won't watch the other eventually but which would you prefer for me to prioritize?

Oh and GITS news
Arise's writer who was also responsible for Psycho Pass S2 was charged for domestic violence.
But more importantly.
Look at Stage Play Motoko and melt.

Dunno.
HxH is way easier to binge.
But you're half way through LOTGH.
Maybe HxH?
It's an easier watch overall and even after coming back from work half-dead I could see you watching two episodes with no problem because like I said.
Shounen is easier to watch.

inb4 someone makes a tasteless joke about Arise and PP2
Also Sim Canadians don't have imagination. Their brains are usually frozen over.

Well I get 4 days off this upcoming weekend so I'll be pretty well rested. Good opportunity. Though you're probably right that HxH would be an easier binge
And the sooner you get to the Ant Arc and die emotionally the better for everyone.
I hate these things
But still

You do know how much I love dying emotionally >.>
Course considering how far into the series ant arc is that could potentially take me a whole year to even get to X3

Sim enjoys sending people to die emotionally, it's one of two reasons he gets out of bed in the morning.

GitS: Arise ... meh.
Meh, meh and meh.
Yeah that's all I've heard about it.
Never got around to it myself.
I can't watch a GITS that hasn't got Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as Motoko, William Frederick Knight as Aramaki, Richard Epcar as Batou and Crispin' Freesex as Tougasa.
It's just not the same.
Mimi Woods was great for the 1995 movie tho'

Well that's even less reason to watch it.
I thought they were prequels?
So what's so meh about it anyway?
Does it fall on the philosophical aspects? Or is just the general narrative that's bad?
I don't need GITS to be philosophical if I can at least get a good cyber cop show out of it with good characters, characterisation, development and narrative.

Can't give a definitive answer because I dropped it like a wet sack after the first OVA, but the reason why I did that is that it just felt like they were making something tangibly relatable to the GitS series, put its name on it and cash-in. The painfully copious amounts of product placement certainly didn't help either. Truth be told, it felt more like an extended commercial.

Reading 'dem spoilers here.
But I'd rather go with the whole human malevolence theme in the anime than the VN's.
I think it fits the horror concept as well as all that happens a whole lot more.
Because love and hate, dark and light are just hyori ittai.
Humanity is always more scary than most other reasons that creative people conjure. People be scary yo!

They are awfully sorry that their faith in the giant moose is not strong enough to gain them imagination!
