They're making a new Sailor Moon. I watched this show as a young lad back in the late 90's. This interests me.

This might soon impossible to believe to some, but i never watched the original Sailor Moon, i was more a of DBZ person(not anymore, i swear, besides the occasional nostalgia).
Good news for me then, maybe to see what all the hype is about.

Oh wow, YYH was like my favorite show EVER when i watched it years ago.
I haven't seen in a long time, in fact i never finished it because they didn't finished traducing the episodes in my region :'(
Maybe... Maybe it's time to how see well has it aged.

Also the outfits of the Strawhats and what the bad guys look like here.

Some of the outfits are cool, Luffy, Zoro, Nami and Usopp look great. Franky needs to lose the pink speedo and stockings. Robin looks like a hooker.

Z looks great, Binz is the best looking ninja ever... Ain looks kind of boring.

Most of the time Robin has a more classy look, like in the last movie.

Then again everyone looked classy in the last movie...

Ahh, the series is not as sexual as you make it look. Yet, I must admit, that scene was great.
From the perspective of "personal identity" and "human psychology" of course.

Or just coarse humor.

I'm glad that that the anime has so far turned out ot be better than the manga. At least IMO.

Haven't read the manga. But I really do enjoy the show. It is light-hearted yet compelling, with interesting themes and such. Really love the music as well.

So out of the new shows what has everyone been watching?

So far Sword Art Online has been great it's like a darker .hack//Sign.

Humanity Has Declined could get better, so I will keep watching.

The big surprise for me was Binbougami ga! it ups the fanservice more than the manga did sure, but it's got some good animation so far and the manga was a fun gag series, so yeah this show is a comedy. Kind of like in a Gintama style.

 

As for what I am continuing, Hunter x Hunter(duh) the York Shin arc here we come!

Will watch Sword Art Online, Binbougami, and just maybe the one about the future-fairy, in the next couple of hours - they don't seem that atractive though. The MMO themed one seems a bit shallow, about Binbou I don't know, and there isn't much substance to a fairy-themed anime, usually. The setting is great though - haven't imagined an anime about a future scenario with declined birthrates myself, it would be interesting to see the reasons they've come up for the decline.

Btw, bmwcrazy - there seems to be a new K-ON movie out! ...

Hard for me to say what Sword Art Online will be like in the long run, I never read the light novels or the manga.

Binbou-gami ga! is like I said a gag series, the anime adaptation even got Yoichi Fujita(the director of the Gintama anime) to direct it. So yeah nothing to take seriously but a fun watch, I will say the manga is better but so far the pacing for the show is fine, I just hope it doese't go the way Beelzebub did...

Oh and there is this.

One show out of the new line up that got me disappointed was Kingdom, not because of it's story or characters but because I don't care for the animation much. Sad too since the manga is one of the best of the best running right now.

Sorry for the double post, but I just wanted to say it looks like I may get a chance at Otakon this year to see Gen Urobuchi(writer of Puella Magi Madoka Magica), Tetsuya Kakihara(voice of Simon and Natsu), Aya Hirano(you know Haruhi!), Yuuka Nanri(voice of Henrietta and Ritsuko Mukae), Ai Nonaka(voice of Fuko Ibuki and Kyoko Sakura), Brina Palencia(dub voice of Rei Ayanami and Chopper), J. Michael Tatum(dub voice of Scar and Eneru), Michael Sinterniklaas(Dean Venture!), Sarah Williams(voice of peacock from Skullgirls), Christine Marie Cabanos(dub voice of Madoka Kaname and Filia from Skullgirls), Trina Nishimura(dub voce of Mari Illustrious Makinami and Lan Fan) and last of all Jason David Frank(the Power Ranger).

Now I am not going to get see them all, you know how cons are, long lines and all that with little to no chance of seeing the big stars. Still I will try my best to at least get autographs from Jason David David Frank, Gen Urobuchi, Brina Palencia(It would be nice to have her autograph on the volume where Chopper first shows up), J. Michael Tatum(first volume where Scar shows or maybe Eneru?) and Tetsuya Kakihara(Gurren Lagann DVD set or should I get him to autograph the first volume of Fairy Tail? To you know make me care about that stupid book).

Anyway this is looking like a good Otakon this year.

I finished watching the entire series yesterday. Yin is by far my favorite character and I loved the way her character developed in the ova.

You should watch the ova before watching season 2 otherwise you might be really confused with what's going on.

You can watch that here

the ova doesn't have that many episodes but it was the best part of the series imo.
