This weeks episode of Kill La Kill was just not stop explosive action... I loved it. Trigger seriously went all out.

The simple fact that the anime uses Radiohead's Paranoid Android as the closing theme makes it worthwhile for me to watch - Also it's cyberpunk. Gotta watch it sometime soon!

A friend recently recommended Bakemonogatari to me which I'll probably end up checking out after I finish Angel Beats (which I should finally be starting today by the way). I'm just curious about the general consensus around about it, if anyone has watched?

Bakemonogatari is a must-watch nowadays.

It didn't tingle me bones as anime I consider classic, but it does have this weird-paced, much-to-read(-into) fancy and artsy overall.

In style, reminds me of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, and to a lesser
extent Tatami Galaxy. But it has these mythological and psycho
tendencies to it.

Bake is one of my all time favorites. Right up there with Toradora. I'd recommend the entire Monogatari series though. Nise is a little lax, but Monogatari Series Second Season is pure genius. Especially the final arc.

Thanks gang! Good to know I've been recommended another goodie. The friend initially worded it like the series is worth checking out for art style alone but I did a little bit of reading on it and it definitely sounds like a series I could really enjoy. I'll keep those others in mind too Ghost, so thank you for that as well.

Just finished Watamote. T'was good. Hope they make a second season. 

The hug at the end of episode 11 is one of the most adorable things I have ever seen..

And my addiction to anime continues to spiral as I have just gotten a membership to crunchyroll. Totally worth it. Maybe I will check out this Bakemonogatari.

Bakemonogatari -> Nisemonogatari -> Nekomonogatari: Kuro -> Monogatari Series Second Season (yes, that's the title)

That's the order to watch the Monogtari series in. And don't trust Crunchyroll. Bakemonogatari has 15 episodes, NOT 12. They for some reason do not have the final 3. You can find then online anywhere though. Don't miss them, they are absolutely crucial. 

Hanamonogatari comes out this year, and the last of the novels (when they release) shold be adapted in 2015-2016

It might grow on you. My friend was the same. He didn't really fall in love with it till he hit some of the later episodes.
