Against my better judgement I've decided to suffer through more of the horribly translated Kenichi in order to see more of Shig-- I mean, the plot.

It gets really good, especially toward the end of season one. Most of season 2 is good, but it dips toward the end. I'd say it's worth it to pick it back up and finish it, especially since Studio ufotable is re-animating Fate/Stay Night this year. Overall, I'd say F/Z is an 8/10, even if it does sort of fall apart on the back end.


Ah, nice. Thanks for the opinion. Caster's my favorite so far, but I get the feeling he's not going to last for very long.

And Reezy, I can't blame you. It's a mighty fine plot.

Is your avatar from the anime Durarara!!? I think I remember seeing a girl with a helmet like that on. I'm probably wrong, but it looks familiar.

It's worth it if only for Kirei Kotomine and the few scenes with Kamiya, you'll get a bonus of Rider and Caster from the continuous watch.

Gen Urobuchi is one step ahead of us. Thats why he made Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

Speaking of which I want to buy the dvd's when The Rebellion Story is released in April. Though I have not decided if I should get the TV series & the third movie, or just the movie trilogy. I wonder if they intend to release all 3 movies in a single set or anything like that?

Yeah was not sure if that was a thing or not. Guess I'm stuck buying the individual DVDs. Hmm TV series + 3rd movie or just get movie trilogy?

TV series has more content. But the movie series flows really well together and has some amazingly done scenes.

More or less. There was 2 movies each was a half of the TV series.

I think it actually fits really well in movie format, its just that a few scenes got cut.

Yeah if theres any significant difference that will definitely be the decider. The cheapest option would be to not buy them at all lol. But I honestly do want to support the series.

< Watching Fate/Zero S2 atm.   ***  [spoilerish] ***   Surprisingly very few casualty's in the show so far other then the random children constantly getting killed off. I am hoping S2 gets way more intense with some all out clashes. Needs more fighting to the death.  /endspoiler

So far I like Rider the most.

Nope. I also want to see if Kenichi is still getting his ass kicked by Miu. I just got past the Tidat arc where he saved Miu and met her dad and she's still schooling him in training.
