Checked out the newest Naruto chap, and lol @ Kishimoto for hitting Mads with an absurd amount of plot induced stupidity.

Madara: (feels weird upchucks stuff) Huh, Rikudou's artifacts? Meh, they're useless to me. (leaves them behind for anyone to use against him)

Mind you, these are holy artifacts that are created by the verse's equivalent of Jesus Christ. smh

It's no more out of character for Kishi then him randomly abandoning his first storyboard concept (Which i actually thought was half decent and would have been far better but...well) on a whim and basically prolonging the series until the current date with its messed up lore, Convaluted and Kindergarden level stupidity overall plot.

._. Seriously i actually have taken the time to look over the original storyboards and it isn't half bad its a bit cliched even for a shonen but i would take it over the current mess.

I'd say GitS first.

Black Lagoon is good, really good. But GitS is on its very own level imho. Also, if you like Black Lagoon, try Jormungand.

Alright, will do! :)

I bet my feels will be turned inside out again... but I can take it... I ca- can tak- take it.

Gits is great. But do watch the original 1995 movie first. It's the most must-see of GITS really...

And when we say the original 1995, we mean the 1995, not that CGI boondogled thing they made a.k.a. GitS 2.0.

GAH Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood's ending with Hohenheim can still make me tear up. I pray that never changes.

Indeed, I too found that ending to be sad.

Me, too hell I re-watched the FMAB 2 months ago, and every time I do so there some moments in it that push me a little towards tearing up^_^.

I found the moment with Fuhrer King Bradley talking with Lan Fan while he was dying to be probably the most touching moment of the series.

Ghost in the Shell is an amazing anime. The movies are worth a gander as well, and hopefully Arise will be dubbed sometime soon (I hope if it is, the English VAs don't change).

I'll be eager to hear what your thoughts on GitS are.

Okay, I watched the Ghost in the Shell movie (1995 one.) It was alright, perhaps it works better as a series, but the films pacing was kind of off. Oh, yeah, the dub was terrible for it xD

I'll give the series a shot. I enjoy a well written narrative, but the characters weren't all that really. I don't really think complicated = good writing, look at Cowboy Bepop and Death Note. They're not complicated at all but are really well done.

Maybe it's just me. An hour and a half of characters and dialogue doesn't really do it for me anymore after I discovered video games and TV.

I'll let you guys know what I think of the series. I've heard you need to pay extra attention, so I will.

It's true. You need to pay real close attention for a lot of episodes. Missing even a minute can leave you lost, unless you've watched the series repeatedly.

It's very political, tecnological, philosophical, and a lot of other -cals.

Heretic! Burn the heretic!

Well, unless you're talking about everyone else that isn't Batou or Aramaki. Richard Epcar has done a fantastic job as Batou, and Aramaki's always been solid VA wise since both characters have had the same English VAs.

Out of curiosity, where'd you watch it? Cuz I've never seen the whole thing before and I'd like to do that sometime.

This worries me. There's nothing I dislike more than plots so complicated they almost seem pretentious. Let's see...

A guy who can handle ASOAIF with no problem and generally enjoys politcal intrigue (the Foundation series comes to mind) and loves psychological factors when it comes to characters (Thomas Covenant comes to mind here) will have no problem with this, no?

It's not going to do a Final Fantasy Seven where to this bloody day the plot still confuses me somewhat

Nah, it's not overly convoluted. You just have to pay attention to the details. Thanks for the link!

YEEEEEES! OMG Kill La Kill was amazing!

I did kind of guess the twist at the very end, or rather I considered it a possibility earlier on in the series but still... freaking amazing episode! It was everything I was expecting and more.

Indeed. She seems to have a real grudge against her. Though, I did like to see her composure break in this episode, like it did when she fought Ryuko's "dad".

I still like the idea of her being a no-side psychopath so I can at least sympathize with her decisions.

She was not the only one. Even Satsukis was not prepared for this episodes insanity.
