That's a good point. With subtitles its more difficult to use both monitors effectively.

Funmation is dubbing Attack on Titan methinks, and they usually do a good job. Whoever dubbed Death Note did a great job, as well as Cowboy Bebop :-)
But since it's the thing that got me interested in anime, I think I'll ignore my patience for once and get right to it after Ghost in the Shell (which btw I'm really enjoying. Just watched episode 12 now, it was a weird one, gonna dig deeper to see if there a greater meaning to it.)

Nope, just looked for reviews and nada. Seems it was just a deeper look into Matoko's character, which is fine, because I really like her. Something I love about anime is the presence of a strong female cast in every show. Though I don't get her choice in clothing, for a show so serious and well written, Matoko certainly loves to wear revealing stuff...
It's fine with me though hehe xD

Funimation tends to do good dubs at the cost of sticking with the same voice actors for everything, it gets tiresome at some point.

I haven't watched enough anime to catch onto that
Though I've already caught Oghren/Grunt (I refuse to call him Steve Blum) in two of them, hehe. But his role as the coolest motherf*cker in the galaxy is well deserved.

I liked the GitS dub, VAs did a good job. Screw hulu and their ads, though. I usually just try to find the most convenient, legal-sounding option to view something, whether it's dub or sub.

The Pokemon episode got banned for that I think, or at the very least heaviliy censored when it was first brought over.

Yeah this show has tons of borderline porn, but usually it makes fun of itself for that. Kind of like how the strongest outfits are modified schoolgirl sailor uniforms and the main character has to go through some kind of character development to even accept truly wearing it.
Its true though, theres definitely a difference in what kind of content you can see it anime compared to many western shows, even ones considered mature here. Sometimes they really go overboard with the fanservice which can be annoying, but for the most part I will just ignore it (although it sort of fits in KLK's case which takes itself insanely seriously well at the same time having an army of nudists getting ready for war)

If everything works out today, then I'm going to be watching PMMM: Rebellion tonight.
Though I have heard that it's pretty devisive. It pissed off a lot of people.

People started screaming and yelling in the theatres near the ending on 1 part (you will know which when you see it) when I watched it
I loved it. The OST is slightly less good then the original imo, and it leaves it a bit more open for a sequel then the TV series but otherwise it was just as good. Most people are upset because Gen is just being Gen.
Let us know what you think. Although initially you will probably be like "wtf..."

I have to give Ragyo credit, she's an effective villain. Shes disturbing, insane, charismatic, ambitious, overpowered and just completely brutal in a fight. I hate her, but for all the right reasons.
