Oh it wouldn't be on PSN I think ever. But yes, the storyline is superb. It has its own Codex as well if you need to look for more information on things mentioned as you play -- which isn't necessary to read, but it DOES add a lot to the story -- and as with the show you need to pay attention to the details. If you do that, you'll get why everything happens

It keeps in line with the same themes of the series, and graphically was one of the finest games to be made for the PS2 IMO for when it came out. Admittedly, this came partially at the expense of mouth animations, so it may seem a touch off, but it's not too glaring.

Holy crap...

I'll need to look for it this week, I would never have thought it would have been any good. Thanks TEWR.

Off topic questions:

How close have you come to a gorilla? I know you might think I'm picking at your love for them, but it's really a mutual respect for them. If you haven't, I'd recommend to go to Fuengirola Zoo if you get the chance (unless you're American, if that's the case, you'll probably find a better place to go.)

Literally a few inches of glass is what separates you from those magnificent animals. Sometimes they just sit and lean on the glass and just watch you. Too bad that their Albino Gorilla died of old age, I had a chance to see her before they rebuilt the place into a proper zoo.

You'll also find a whole family of chimps, which is cool. Funny little bastards they are xD

I am indeed American, and the only times I've come close to gorillas and other primates has been as a kid when I went to a zoo or two.

Aside from that, no actual interactions with them.

But I did get a stuffed gorilla when I was 3 for Christmas at a Wal-Mart. Still have him, to be honest. He's one of those things I can't get rid of. Too much sentimental value.

I must be one of the few here who likes dubs and subs about the same. Subs are never distracting to me.

Translation is an art form that is hard to master. So that is why there are many bad dubs, or well used to be. I think the reason why Funi and Viz and all those other companies have better dubs nowadays is very simple. People wanted better dubs. I like to think most watchers can tell what a bad dub is.

But when it comes to subs I think most watchers who only know English, get really lost when it comes to knowing if they are good or not. Take a look at fansubs, most fansubs suck, but I have seen many people think those bad fansubs are good. lol

This guy gets it. It says something about that show when it's the first series I thought to buy all the episodes on DVD for.

No ending is still better than the nothing ending that YuYu got. And besides if you ignore the last chapter that came out, HxH had a sort of ending. I mean I view it as the ending at least. So there!

And it is still the better series anyway!

I kind of want to try HxH, I have heard good things but then again I could watch like 5-10 other animes in the time it would take to catch up so....

Watch Nisekoi too. Becaue Chitoge is even better than sliced bread.

I watched the first few episodes of Nisekoi and had mixed feelings. On the one hand I think Shaft has done an amazing job with it, on the other hand I have never been a fan of Harems and from the sounds of it the plot ends up going quite a while without any real developments. But I will still keep an eye on it.

As for HxH maybe I will wait until its finished. But I dont know if I could stomache another anime that is 100+ episodes. I gave up on both Naruto and Bleach long before they hit the triple digits. Infact I have never been able to watch an anime that long and remain invested (not since I was younger and watched DBZ at least).

One of the few I come back to rewatch in its entirety.

@Isi:

Well Nisekoi is an interesting beast. The first 51 chapters of the manga are very good, there's some filler here and there, but when developments occur, they're genuinely significant and actually change both the story's and the characters' dynamics. Unfortunately, the manga's now up to chapter 110, and the last MAJOR development happened back at chapter 49-51, with a smaller one happening in the 70s. It has been almost entirely made up of filler since then.

Now, Shaft is supposedly going for a 2 cour with the anime, so they's likely end it around chapter 50 (since they're so far sticking astonishingly close to the manga and adapting about 2 chapters per episode), so it's safe to assume they'd end it around chapter 51, which would be pretty awesome. And fear not, the harem part of the harem isn't actually that pronounced. Like, there are 4 girls in the "harem", but it's very clear that it's really just a love triangle, though the other two female leads are amazing.

I will watch the first season if nothing else then. I am only a few weeks behind anyways. I heard the same thing about the manga which was what kind of turned me off of it but will see how they handle it.

Again, I am really impressed with what Shaft has done with it so far. They have some really top notch production value.

Well in this one's humble opinion, Shaft is the most god-like entity in all of Japanese animation: Monogatari series, the Ef series, Madoka, adapting best manga Nisekoi with their unique style.

Akiyuki Shinbou can do no wrong (even though he didn't direct Ef).

Agreed. Shaft + Shinbo are amazing. Its the main reason I even started watching Nisekoi in the first place. Also I still need to start up the Monogatari series.

You so do. I can say without any doubt that it's my favorite series. Period. Especially the last arc of Monogatari Series Second Season. Kaiki Deishu is the greatest character. Ever. <3

That reminds me of a couple other things Ive been meaning to watch for a while now... Mainly Clannad and Beyond the Boundary.

From what I have seen I still prefer Shaft but Kyoto Animation is really good too.

This is my opinion which means it's factual.

In terms of sheer style, Shaft wins because they seem to be able to pull off a ton of different styles and keep the quality consistent throughout.

In terms of animation when they're going for good, Kyoto can nail everything right and create some fantastic scenes.
