Yeah it has been great so far.

Agreed. I hope you know who doesn't bite the dust yet, as i'd like to see all of the Sins reunite.

Nope. I'm on 56. I need to catch up.

Sadly, when you catch up all you'll feel afterwards is that emptiness as you have to wait a week for a new chap.

I'm starting Jojo 2012, what should I expect? I never heard anything about the series except that it's manly.

It is the best thing ever.

And it is way more than just a fabulous manly series. It is a way of life.

Also you will love Dio.

JJBA is a classic. More people need to watch and read the series.

Yay! Found a film, Solid state society!

Well, you found the movie.

There is a prequel series for GitS:SAC, but frankly I don't like the break of artistic style. I don't like it so much in fact that I didn't give it a chance to be honest, but there's a couple things that I absolutely MUST have consistency, which are artstyle, voice over and tone. I simply can't stand characters looking and/or moving different than before, changing voice actors is a simply no-go for me (also the premier reason I didn't buy Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Ironside for Fisher or bust!) and a dark, serious anime suddenly getting dumped with gags is nothing I like either.

I know what you mean. Changing your VAs and art style is like jumping into a whoe new world. It's not the same at all. Anyway, I'm not interested in prequels, especially if you say is true. I might check out the other movies though.

Oh, and btw, is my hunch on Spice and Wolf true? It's gonna be one cheesy as F love story? Or is there more depth to it than that?

I am indeed American, and the only times I've come close to gorillas and
other primates has been as a kid when I went to a zoo or two.

Aside from that, no actual interactions with them.

That's a shame :-/

Well if you find yourself in Spain, you know where to check out then :D

There are also Lemurs in an open area where you can take photos with them and dance to "move it move it" heheh xD

I haven't watched Spice and Wolf. My personal economics/politics education anime of Maoyuu Maou Yuusha. And that one is quite enjoyable.

I'm feeling the strongest urge to go on a Satoshi Kon binge today. Methinks that's what I'm going to do.

Which Monogatari show is that? Looks like one of 'em. I still need to finish Bakemonogatari.

That's Nisemonogatari.

I watched that one too, I really liked it but it sucks that it doesn't have second season.

Reminds me of "Okamisan"

Which also regretfully doesn't have a second season despite several producers hinting that there likely would be one.

I've been trying to piece together the metaphorical significance of what actually caused it to end, but I've been drawing blanks.

On an unrelated note, I got up to episode 26 in FMA: Brotherhood, and that last scene. Goddam man, that was something.

Personally, I'm a big fan of Kyon is god theory. It helps explain EE as well.

That theory does make a lot of sense. I haven't seen Disappearance yet, so when I watch that it might help re-enforce that theory for me, but it does fit very well.

So I watched it all in one go...

The dub is fine and so is the art and the music. Though I suppose the former is subjective. But I gotta say I *really* like it. The trading bits are fun to watch, though if you're like me, and useless at currency and business, you'll have a hard time following his explanations.

What you're really watching it for, though, is the relationship. The 'romance' isn't cheesy at all, and it flows naturally. The banter is great and there are some hilarious parts.

You know what it reminds me of really?

A good BioWare game.

The story is good with an interesting concept that makes it seem more than what it is. The dialogue is great and the characters are fun. There's depth to it, though not as much as it seems, but enough for you to feel satisfied in its viewing.

Apart from the comedy, there's a good deal of drama and the setting is also fun. I wouldn't say 'interesting' since there's not much to it, but it's still nice to see all this medieval stuff.

I really enjoyed it, and they get better with each episode, so I do recommend it to anyone looking or a light-hearted adventure with humour, drama and great character chemistry.

The only 'weird' part is that she's supposed to look 15 and comes out naked for quite a bit. But I suppose it IS the medieval era and anyone who has read ASOIAF has no right to say 'weird' when you picture Dany getting pumped by a man 20+ years older than her.

Anyway, off to season 2!

It's a nice break from Ghost in the Shell which required your utmost attention.

P.S Holo reminds me of Morrigain, but more like Morrigain lite with a little Isabella in there somewhere. Well, she has stripped naked and not given a **** on multiple occasions xD

I just spent 2 hours (6 episodes) in cardiac arrest thinking that the show was going to do a PMMM on me and become dark as fuaaarrk all of a sudden.

Thank god episode 6 made it all better. Now I can go to sleep.

Edit: If this show does a 180 at the end I swear to god I'll have to stop it with anime.

Ugh...

I'm a sucker for romance <_<

Have you watched Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions? So far that's been my favorite romance in an anime. Its not completely soul crushing either so that's a plus.
