Well, does it personally annoy you like Paranoia Agent annoyed me? But still, all things considering, it's not a bad show?
From what I heard the setting isn't completely explained. The future is horrible, so they have to live in dome cities. Why is it horrible to live outside? I don't know. The characters themselves don't actually need to be in wolf form other than to do wolf like things: running away like a dog or biting somone's throat. There are pointless characters, aimless wandering, and pointless recaps. The animation is said to be good, it creates an atmosphere of it's own, and has nice music. But it takes too long for people to get into it if they were not already drawn to the show already.
That's what I heard.
The first half of Clannad and Little Busters are meh. It's only the second season where all the feels are at. At least in Angel Beats! it was able to put some feel into the first and only season. I didn't feel anything from Kanon or Air though.
One thing I will say is if you are watching Key anime, you will notice the some of characters will fall into a pattern throughout all their IPs.
*Sigh* I just wish the another world ending was the true ending. The show would still be meh, and After story wouldn't have happen - but still! I'm trying to be as vague as possible with posting too much spoilers.
