Sim never go into a Key anime looking for laughs. You go in looking to cry like a baby.

Rumbling Hearts had them feels too.

Well, I HAVE to cry sometimes? xD

I think I'd be branded a robot if I didn't nerd out from time to time, hehe.

As for laughs? Well Clannad delivered on that just fine! :-) though it did make me cry a lot at the end of Afterstory. Of gut-wrenching sadness, and then of gut-wrenching joy, hah!

Btw, I've heard the term 'Key' being used before. Is that the nickname of the creator or something? Akin to our beloved DG?

Key is the name of the company that made:
Kanon
Air
Clannad
Little Busters
Angel Beats

They run on tears!

Wow, someone else watched KimiNozo as well.

I saw it a long time ago and I remember I cried my heart out. It definitely wasn't the anime I expected to be.  :(

If they had compressed it into a 2-hour film, it'd definitely be a masterpiece.

It's no different to Martin and mister Gaider. They are monsters who use feely feels to make them seem compassionate, human and kind! Think not of it! They are demons who feed of the misery of others.

Clannad is best. Followed by Kanon, Little Busters, Air TV and Angel Beats!, in that order. In my opinion at least.

I felt miserable afterwords. Watched a bunch of comedy anime afterwards.

Gaider is a saint compared to them. I've heard their visual novels have even more feels then the anime.

I've heard that the visual novel of Clannad ends really sad.

I think.

Maybe the guy was bullshitting.

Btw, angel beats is awesome so far. But damn, that first murder back story was f*cked up.

I watched it on Netflix because it seemed like a break from the typeof stuff I normally watch. I thought it was ok. I liked Kuranosuke quite a bit.

The anime ending is the true ending of the game, but in order to get that ending you must go through the others and gather those orbs to unlock it.

Game? It's a chose your own adventure game or something?

Nope. And I don't think I will. They won't have the same impact on me, I think, seeing how much I was invested in the 'canon' relationship.

Though it'd be interesting to go back after I've gotten over the whole thing.

It's like the choose your own adventure books. You read until you get to a branching path, and pick where you go from there.

There are adult and all ages version of their games.

I just saw the Nina scene in Code Geass. Did she really just do what I think she did? :o

They won't have much emotional impact, seeing as how they are seperate standalone episodes but they are not bad if you just want to spend more time with the characters.

Its funny seeing Tomoya with another girl after watching the entire series, it just feels... wrong.

Not me.

I actually prefer the Kyou and the Tomoyo route. Those two specials are the highlights of the series for me.

I've been told Tomoyo had the best (or at least most emotional) story in the VN from a few people, is that true?

I kind of want to try them out now.

This weeks Bleach chapter is the first time I have not hated the series in a while. The pacing was still laughably bad but at least I got to see my favorite characters Bankai... On that note, I fear the series has very little left to offer me.

Also I am kind of intrigued in the new enemies fighting style. Erasing himself from existence (well at least from other peoples perceptions) is definitely a unique way to fight.
