Almost done the first season of darker than black. I have to say its been a treat.
When i go to season 2 do i watch the OVA's or the actual season first?

I've also started ghost in the shell. stand alone complex. Does the main chick really run around dressed in that bra and jacket?

I use to watch that on adult swim. I completely forget the point of that series. XD

I just remember naked cyborgs and mechs. Lots and lost of mechs.

That must have been pretty confusing.

Evan after watching the ova, I had to watch the series one more time over to really understand what was going on.

Well i finished the 1st season of darker than black.
How sad. So many character die. This is definitely has some noire elements

Noire in fiction usually has certain traits that define it from other genre's.

~ Pessimistic and cynical themes
~ Death...
~ Characters not getting what they want in the end
~ Dark settings, rain, storms, etc

Darker than black share all these traits

lol no worries so did I the first time then I discovered the OVA's and was like "..........well sh!t.......stuff makess a lot more sense now..."

Have you watched the original movie already? The one that came out in 1995?

Because I'd recommend that first and foremost. Absolute brilliance.

I finished watchin highschool of the dead and all I saw was boob shots. Boob shots everywhere!

Infact, they probably spent more time animating womens cleavage than they did making zombies.

Like I said, over the top fan service.

They did manage to sneak a little bit of a plot and Saeko killing stuff in there so that's nice.
