So, the Madoka Rebellion Bluray is starting to show up in... certain places. It looks and sounds absolutely amazing.

Surrender you pig in Human Clothing! Surrender to the greatness that is Kill La Awesomeness (Trust me, you will be much happier when you do)
This had me in tears xD
I am kinda of a pig in human clothing hahah. Well, at least mentally.
hh, there should be 12 episodes of that though, right?
And 10 ovas...
Better keep going simfan.
Yep, will do! ![]()
The TV and OVAs essentially tell the same story, but of course, the OVAs are a ton 'dirtier' than the TV episodes. It's borderline porn xD
Anyway I'm watching Kill La Kill now so awesome badassness awaits ![]()

Good good

I'm almost finished the second season of Chihayafuru. The closer I get to the end, the less I want to finish it. I didn't think it was possible, but somehow its even better then the first season..

I still can't get over how good the Garden of Words animation is, or anything else by Mikoto Shinkai for that matter.
Well, if we are sharing I may as well link this

Just finishing up Chihayafuru season 2. Guess I'll have to wait for the next season now ![]()
I loved it. The animation was beautiful, the OST was top notch, and the story did a good job of keeping me engaged. The character development is some of the best I've ever seen. There's like 20-30 side characters and 3 main characters and they are all interesting in some form or another. The game/sport they play, Karuta, has a surprising amount of depth but is explained well enough that even someone who has never heard of it before the show, like me, can understand what is happening perfectly.
An incredibly well executed show all around, I'd give it a 10/10 and put it as one of my top 3 favorite animes. I really hope I don't have to wait long for season 3, and that its as engaging as the second season was.
Now to finish off Texhnolyze.

Okay, so Kill la Kill. I have no idea who I like better. The main character or the antagonists; both are awesome.
And that fight with Jakuzare... jaysus h christ that was badass xD
It's so over the top; but it doesn't feel forced at all. I love it, and the humour really gets me. like the Naturals Election arc. So cheesy, but just so great! xD
And it seems "Chihayafuru" is one for the list ![]()

I still consider that to be one of the best done Anime Fights period.
The clashing of European Styled Estoc and Saber, clashing against Bushido's Kenjutsu.
@___@ totally epic.

I wasn't on about how well done it was though. I was just appreciating just how wacky the whole concept was xD
But yeah, that vid up there is impressive :-)

For any Australian manga fan that may be reading:
There is a massive Madman sale right now, some of them are going for only $2 with no postage costs at all. The downside is that almost all of them are completely awful but there are some decent ones like Haruhi Volume 1, Are You Alice & Karneval.
I've already gotten 20 or so volumes. My bookshelf is going to hate me for this...

Things start getting good after the Jakuzare fight.. well, they were good before it, but they get even better after it.
As for Chihayafuru its different then the other kinds of animes I have watched, so its a bit hard to recommend since I don't know if others would enjoy it as much as I did. There's not a whole lot I know of that I could compare it to. If you like heavily character driven stories and/or romances then this may certainly be right up your alley. The sport aspect is surprisingly enjoyable even if your someone who does not normally take an interest in sports, mainly due to how the sport is primarily used to develop and expand on the characters.
Just watched Psycho Pass 4-6
Things are starting to pick up a little more as each case seems to be connected somehow. Episode 6 left me with a Dexter season 1 sort of vibe. The animation and setting is the most impressive thing about it so far but the story is intriguing enough and still developing. I'm intrigued to see what its building up to. Overall its pretty badass.

Cantonese foil, but its the closest equivent to the European dueling style, i just short hand it to them. But if you REALLY want to get into swordsmanship technique we can do that dance.

*rolls around* I can't begin to explain properly how pleased I am that the time for TRS is just about here. Finally, so many answers will be mine! I'm figuring I will either post about it after first completing it (which admittedly my thoughts might be a little disjointed in the same way they were when I finished the series for the first time) or just wait until I've had the time to gather my thoughts properly and be actually coherent.

Hah it took me like a month after watching the movie until I could start thinking about it rationally. The the ending left me in a state of mental shock..
I know the moment you guys and gals start making posts on it I won't be able to resist watching it anymore myself.
Ugh
So close and yet so far away.
