I think it also depends on how professional the subbing group chooses to be. I originally watched Death Note fansubbed way back when but the group had really frustrating font choices and they used emotes in the subs which drove me up a wall.

Oi Lagnan has a plot, it's just not very complicated. They keep digging upwards until they get to space.
Excuse me for not falling head over heels for kindergarden level material then.
Not dissing Gurren but its not even in the same league as UC gundam.

Looks like Kill la Kill has gotten licensed by an American company; so there's a chance for a dub. Good. The more people who watch it the better.

But no one will get the SENKEEETSU! Right, it just wont sound the same in English xD the finishing moves that is
Aniplex of America eh? Wonder who they'll be casting if it gets dubbed? I'd love to hear Monica Rial as Nui Harime

Deadman wonderland was an alright manga in my book, The Anime was hit and miss but the Manga was solid enough to keep my attention through out its course.

TBF they didn't have much room left for a plot, it is already filled with so much awesome.
The plot is actually part of the awesomeness, it does a lot with a little.
Excuse me for not falling head over heels for kindergarden level material then.

The contradiction in these two sentences. You're not dissing it, you're just saying it has not plot and is kindergarten material. Right. ![]()
I'd contest the idea of the show being more light hearted and over the top somehow means it's devoid any depth. I could elaborate on my plot synopsis if you really want me to.

Ignore my last post on this. Why did you link an old article? I just caught my lapse in knowledge. OF COURSE Aniplex of America licensed it. That's the reason why it got subtitled in English.

I'd argue that understating or rather undervaluing its plot doesn't overly detract from my statement of offering the anime modest praise as i said it wasn't bad, tis just you are comparing it to the Grand Daddy of all Mecha, its going to lose.
And no need, my opinion on this subject is fairly firmly cemented, Gurren is a 7/10 anime, it shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as the UC Gundam Saga.

When they say its supposed to end soon, I could see him easily squeeze another year out of it, that being said, I think the quality has picked up this last couple of issues, it will be interesting to see what the sage said to Sasuke and what forms him and Naruto take when they come back.
What do you mean? He's talking to him parallel to Naruto.

Just finnished the first 5 episodes and I already think its one of the best things ever made. After the more serious stuff like Fate/Zero I really needed something like this.

I'm about half way through Kill la Kill, and yeah I totally agree. Also, the soundtrack is killer.

Today I listened to Ambiguous (the second opening) for an hour at the gym. I also had the "DON'T LOSE YOUR WAAAAYY" song, but somehow I just LOVE the Japanese language when it comes to music. Has to do with my love for songs in fictional languages :-)

I'm listening to it right now. God damn it felt so good doing HIIT with this, good enough for four pints of 'milk'
Yeah, I went there.
F*CK IT!
After Airbender season one I'm finding a day where I can binge the entirety of this series again. It still hasn't left my system in 2 days.

Kill La Kill is so god damn addictive. I'm really glad I watched it weekly instead of binging it. It actually made me look forward to Thursdays more then the weekends. Also I'm glad people appreciate just how awesome the OST is, definitely worth buying imo.
Both Akumi No riddle and Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san both air in 2 days, looks like I can safely start calling it Yuri Fridays.
Gotta see which new animes CR is getting, they better have a few of the ones I'm planning on watching.

Anyone here watch Norgami? It's a pretty fun show.
Oh, and so is Love, Chunibyo and other Delusions. (though I'm late on that one)
They are the perfect follow up to something like Serial Experiments Lain.

See this guy gets it. Haven't listened to Satsuki's theme normally in a while since I sampled it and some other Kill la Kill track I forgot the name of.
