Yeah Cowboy Bebop or something. There's Bebop, she worked on Darker Than Black, and Ghost in the Shell: SAC. There's more but those are the only ones that I've watched.
She also did Escaflowne (epic soundrtack) and Aquarion...others too.

HAR!
I'm waiting on my blu-ray copy in the mail, in the meantime I couldn't resist checking out the dvd copy that was floating around online ![]()
So now that there's a dark setting for the forum, I'm back!
sort of. Still haven't started any new series or anything, I was contemplating starting Eureka Seven but then I got side-tracked with homework and now I'm debating on starting The Tatami Galaxy.
OH BOY, INDECISION.
All indecision will end once the new Berserk comes out in a few days, I'm just hoping they get off the damn boat.
Welcome back! Was wondering where you were. Also can't wait for Berserk, been waiting over a year for a chapter =/

Ah crap, you cheated!
heueheuehue sooo will I! xD
And look, Dave is back. It's great not wearing sunglasses indoors any more, ain't it?
P.S The Second Season of Avatar is really good. I also loved the last episode of the first season.
I'll warn you, a lot of it is just me gushing on about Homura.. I probably could have condensed and organized it a bit better but I know the moment I start editing it I would just start remembering more things I wanted to talk about and add.Isi: I'm going to go get myself some coffee so that I can properly reply to your points without just making stupid sleepy noises but thank you! I get so stupidly excited to discuss the series in general so this will be fun. :3
Alright! Coffee is now working on it's job of making me a bit less of a mental zombie so now it's crack the knuckles time and continue this wonderful conversation. I'll likewise chime in that getting to have these lengthy conversations with you about the series make my day as well. :3 And don't you worry, gushing about both Homura and Sayaka is something I do far too much for me to ever consider it a bad thing. ![]()
On a quick not spoily note, I have some good news! The original group that was working on translating the Madoka Portable game quit sometime last year if I remember correctly *but* another group picked it up and it looks like we might have a demo come this month! https://www.facebook.com/tradukosoft That squealing sound you hear? Probably me.
Now, time to get back to the fun part.
That's some misc rambling out of the way. Let's face it, the meat of our conversations tend to boil right down to Homura and I love that because she truly is one of the greatest characters I've ever witnessed.
I need to give my brain a little break to recharge cause so many words, but I look forward to continuing this and very well might add on to it if anything else pops back into my head while it's in its vaguely resting state. Thank you so much for this! :3
ETA: Sneaking back hours later to mention a point I keep forgetting to throw in.
So I don't watch to much anime (mainly because of lack of time) but I just finished watching Kill la Kill, and man that was one hell of a fun ride. I went into it expecting to crank it up to 11 right from the start, and it did. But then about half way through it cranked it up even higher, and frankly it just never stopped after that. And the soundtrack is killer.
My only complaint is (spoilers below)
Anyways, a great show. If you haven't watched it, you might consider giving it a look.

I never watched Naruto! But I guess that was a thing in that too? Its quite unfortunate. Its really the only thing that stands out as tarnishing the show. Not that it was that bad, just you know, I think it could have been just a bit better.
@Isichar I can't really fault any of the VAs. Personally I loved Nonon's VA. Her voice is so peculiar.

You aren't missing anything freind.Well basically you had the potential for the series to have an actually competent and fairly rounded antagonist that goes up in smoke when the series starts go rapidly downhill. And Naruto suffered from many issues, it having tobito as a primary antagonist was merely one of them.

Nani sore is pleased.

Yeah I plan on checking out some more of her stuff. Definitely one of my favorite anime composers.

I'm glad you liked it xAmill0n. Kill la Kill was definitely not something I expected to be that freaking bad ass. And it's not just that, though the story is hilarious, it can't be seen as 'crappy' at all since the characters make up for the core of it. Even stuff that seemed ridiculous at the time like talking uniforms ended up being one of the high-lights of the series.
And yeah, that OST was brilliant.
"Don't lose you waaaaaaayyy!" *proceed to Matoi doing something awesome*

Aquarion *shudders*
Escaflowne i can take or leave but that abomination needs to be tossed into the deepest pit of Anime Hell.
Right next to G Gundam and The Samurai Pizza Cats.

Oh definitely. I took me way by surprise. Maybe my ability for suspension of disbelief is simply that remarkable, but after literally the first episode I like "okay that makes perfect sense." The characters and the ludicrousness of the whole plot just works so perfectly. Honestly, its one of my favorite animes I've watched in recent years (which frankly has been limited lol).
What was funny is how they would get to a tender, or touching moment and I was all "wait, are they gonna pile on some feels?" but then they throw Mako in and all is right with the world.
I will say this moment did make me go "d'awwww."
And yeah, I'll keep praising the OST. I actually ended up buying it.
Nani sore is pleased.
Evidently I'm not the only one who noticed her voice and thought it was interesting (for better or worse). Its still funny that is actually thing lol.

That was also a 'dawwwwww moment for me too xD
Okay, just a quick thing. DAMN that episode. Season 2 ep 35 are a bunch of short stories... well, Iroh's one takes the f*cking cake here. I always loved the old dude, but crap that blurred my eyes for a moment there, that was very impressive. Kudos to the writers!
Tales from Ba Sing Se is my favorite episode.
Though sad fact, it's the last episode Irohs voice actor Mako recorded before his death ![]()
just watch the latest ep for naruto. good stuff. best anime ever.
