I love part 3 but I also can't wait until they get to Diamond Is Unbreakable, I need to see Rohan and Kira in anime form already damn it!

This vid will have to tide me over until anime part 4.

Some people can't focus on stuff for more than 5 seconds without s'plosions. That's why we have our Lord and Savior, Michael Bay. And fast-paced anime.

Makes me wonder how many of anime fans have actually read a decent book (BOOK, not manga) lately.

Funny, I don't like Michael Bay. Do we really live in a age where anything with alot of action or over the topness is now linked to that hack? Really?

That would be the most depressing thing i've read all day..

I'd argue that Guillermo Del Toro's over-the-top mecha Pacific Rim was excellent entertainment and went in and understood what it wanted to be. It was also gorgeous without being pretentious, filled with product placement for no reason and cringe worthy in its dialogue, and will probably be the closest to what could be considered a movie adaptation of Evangelion. All due in part to how the director invests his own affection for the genre and sense of artistry into the project in such a way that the viewer can find themselves immersed in the film rather than watching from afar, and thus actually caters to younger and older audiences alike.

Michael Bay might have an infamous reputation for over-the-top entertainment, but he's hardly the hallmark of it.

Sorry, I couldn't resist

(that's a lie, I'm not actually sorry)

Btw that German Magia sounded great Animus. I've seen it recommended on youtube for me but I never checked it out until now.

Also, what does SKU stand for?

The pacing is fine, if they went too fast or did not take a break after season 2(yes season 2, 13 episodes in Japan is a season

Is it? I don't know if it works like that for every anime.

KLK?

It's worse than watching a love seen on TV with your whole family!

Lotion is my anime hero, anyway. He's the one who has introduced me true epic, humorous and badass anime, not the anime about girls who look like 10 years old kids.

LOTION IS RIGHT!

Lotion stan? That's pretty freaking hilarious.

(Why yes, I do refuse to snip dramatic Homura hairflip. <3)

SKU is the acronym for the Japanese title of Utena (Shoujo Kakumei Utena)! I admit I shift between either using that or the US acronym of RGU (Revolutionary Girl Utena). I suppose it's kind of similar to PMMM either going by that or MSMM. :P

Acronyms, fun for us relatively lazy people but sometimes they can be a bit boggling!

Oooh, now that I think about it you've used that acronym before. Oddly enough I knew what it meant back then :pinched:

hmm, I'm thinking of re-watching that series sometime soon, it's been so long and I could see myself getting really into it like I did with PMMM.

I'll warn you that if you do, you'll have to deal with me fangirling over that too! It's been a few years since I last watched it myself. The second and last arcs of the show are definitely my favorite so sometimes I think about solely rewatching that but it's the kind of thing where the payoff comes from watching the whole series. Shorter series have spoiled me. >_<

So I watched the first episode of Black Lagoon, dubbed. The dub seems pretty damn good actually.

tbh that's partially why I'm considering watching it. Your one of the only people that gets and shares my obsession with PMMM ^_^

I get the impression that my inner fanboy may end up loving this just as much (although I'm not entirely sure if that's a good thing... :P )

<3 If you do, I'll work on rewatching it as well since while the bigger picture is still in my head, so many of the tiny tiny details are so very rusty. I've been meaning to watch the movie again anyway cause I was kind of a bit drunk the night I decided to finally watch it. I don't know how well you remember the movie but the last chunk of it gets pretty bizarre and I remember just going 'Uhhhh. What the **** is happening?' XD!

Feeding each other's obsessions is totally a healthy friendship, right? :B

You know what would be an awesome anime? One that is about hardcore gangstas pulling practical jokes on the normal people of society.

Absolutely! It save's me from having to drive the people around me crazy from constantly gushing on about something they don't care or know about :pinched:

I got a few show's I started that I've being putting off that I need to finish so I can finally cross them off the list, but I guarantee I'll be checking it out soon. You will know by the long gushing tangent posts that will no doubt follow.
