Apologies senpai!
Nowadays, every time I hear or read the word senpai, I'm reluctantly reminded of this... thing...:

Expect more awesomesauce to come. Seriously, you've barely scratched the surface. The last 12 to 10 episodes of FMA:B are amongst the greatest there are. And the outros included with the episodes for the fourth intro are sooooooo freaking bad-ass.
Remember, soon there will be a section of episodes that will have post-credit scenes. Look out for those later on.
The way it keep on improving and getting more depth and generally just have more of it in each episode is what i keep getting impressed by. Really something to look forward to each evening to end the day with some FMA:B

*SPOILERS FOR THOSE WATCHING BROTHERHOOD -- TRY NOT TO READ THE FOLLOWING POST*
Spoiler
I am of the opposite mindset.
I find the homonucli being sentient and more grey more interesting. I also found the FMA ending better than the Brotherhood one.
The "big, god-like bad wants to destroy the world, lets defat him" schtick is old.

Does The Boondocks count as anime?

Would have liked the ending if it hadn't ended on a cliff-hanger, needed to solved in a movie which wasn't very good anyway. Giving them the capabilities of compassion and love near end is what I'd consider to be schizophrenic in tone and 'old' as you put it. Having spent most of the anime deriving pleasure out of the suffering of humans comes off as a weakly implemented plot-twist -- Because sure! C omitting atrocities on a massive scale is just their way of showing affection and craving for a hug, right? The fact that they believe their own philosophy to a fanatical extent even at the end, "especially Wrath in Brotherhood, is what made them interesting there. A good villain doesn't need to 'excuse him/herself' for their actions, because otherwise it comes off as if they weren't doing what they believed. Sympathetic villains are rather overdone and it doesn't sit right with the Homunculi, given that they are artificially created monsters, born out of a bitter person/being's inner vices.I am of the opposite mindset.

But we can all choose to view it the way we want.

Any other good ones I can watch?
Movies I mean.
I know the Garden of Sinners is supposed to be fantastic.
And speaking of FMA:B. I know there's a movie out there about it, but is it any good? FMA has a sequel, but FMA:B has what? I prequel?
Tbh, I don't even know if it's related to Brotherhood xD

There's also a Cowboy Bebop film titled Knockin' on Heaven's Door, reference to a great song from Bob Dylan. I find the villain in that film to be quite intriguing and there's also a female-co-lead voiced by Hale in it. It's not as great as the show but I'd say it's good.

Then I'll add it on my list. So is this Brotherhood movie any good? I mean, it doesn't have to be fan-f*cking-tastic, but if it's alright I'll give it a watch.

That's the one. Castle of Cagliostro is Miyazaki's debut, which is a film based on an anime called Lupin III, which is about a master detective, called Lupin who is based upon a french novel about a master detective carrying similar characteristics as Sherlock Holmes etc etc. It's a fun film for certain.

Argh, my mistake - I got things confused there because of Sherlock Holmes. Nah, he's not a Master Detective, he's a master thief though. He's a bit like Sly Cooper, a thief with honour, and spends the film trying to stop a devious Count's counterfeiting business. I got things confused because the character he's based upon is partly based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes, but he too is a gentleman thief. The difference here is that usually Lupin is a very looney sort of thief like Cumberbatch's iteration of Sherlock. He's a bit mental. In Miyazaki's film he's a bit more mature though.
Oh, and he's voiced by David Hayter.
