Well... have you watched the latest 300 movie? It's rubbish, but there's a scene there that'd definitely fit Black Lagoon xD

 

Hell, even DA2 has something that would fit Black Lagoon and that's Isabella's sex scene xD

 

Well considering Revy used to be an SM stripper.... I highly doubt their "romance scene" will be very sweet and tender. She is too hardcore for such stuff

P.S there's also a hilarious scene with That Thai woman, 'Chin-glish.' If you recall the events from when half of the city tried to kill that Indian chick who was good with computers... you know, the one Benny gets it from hehe xD

 

Oh god, that arc made me laugh more times then I cared to count. All those guys xD

 

I think one of my favorite arcs was the Hansel and Gretal arc. It was just so sad.

 

Though the Neo Nazi arc was really strong (and funny) too. It was the one time were I really wanted to slap Revy.

 

Edit: Ah! Miss Balalaika    She actually reminded me so much of Olivia Armstrong Except Olivia is alot less crazy.

At first I really disliked the twins, but then when you find out about their story, you can't help but feel sorry for them.

 

Also, agreed about the Neo Nazi arc. The development was really good. What mostly made me laugh about that arc was how those guys launched 4 anti-tank missles at the boat without even a warning or whatever. Crazy motherf*ckers xD

Crazy motherf*ckers pretty much sums up Black Lagoon xD everybody is a nut case.

 

Apart from Dutch. He's the only black man that's cooler than Samuel L Jackson.

I just started Roberta's Blood Trail. So i'll share my thoughts on it later

Finished episode 18 of Psycho Pass.

Damn I was really starting to like Kagari, I'm a bit disappointed to see him go =\ though I was starting to think there was a surprising lack of main character deaths for something by Gen. His smile at the end reminded me of one of the character deaths in PMMM >_<

The reveal of the Sybal systems true nature was certainly interesting and not wht I expected, although like many of the other things in this series not entirely surprising considering who it's coming from.

I have a sneaking suspicion Makishima (who is a great villain btw) is going to be the one to bring down the Sybal system but we'll see.

Overall it's really picked up. The story is solid, and the antagonist(s) are interesting. With a satisfying conclusion I will have no problem putting it right up there with Gen's other works.

Me and my friend are trying to decide what to watch next since we should be finishing up Psycho Pass this weekend. So far we have narrowed it down to Baccano or Paranoia Agent, anyone here that's seen both which would recommend one over the other?

Persona 4 is getting another anime.. or OVA or whatever, based on the Vita version Golden.

I forgot to mention last night when you first brought it up Isi, but what I watched of Paranoia Agent was quite good. If you've seen anything else by Kon, it keeps with the fairly surreal nature he tends to work with, though imho kind of elevated. In saying that, I still need to watch Millennium Actress.

 

Baccano!, I've still been a horrible slacker on sitting down and watching even though it pretty much screams something that's right up my alley. The general consensus I've seen is that it's amazing. It's on the someday list as well.

 

I personally don't have any thoughts to really make a proper spiel yet but I finally started Shinsekai yori last night. Lots of potential here for sure. I'm really liking the atmosphere and while I can kind of see where people could complain about the pacing, it currently feels like it's laying down groundwork and making sure the viewer gets an idea for the sorts of powers and rules in the world before moving forward.

 

Probably going to scamper off and watch more now while I have the time.

The Animation is definitely better than the original anime, but it doesn't really warrant another anime.

But there is both "The Animation" and "the original anime." And I never heard of it being re-released or anything. 

Was referring to the new one titled Golden Animation -- Meant to say that it is at least better looking, partly because it's done by Atlus' in-house animation studio, but that doesn't really warrant another anime.

At least the animation style look better, though a new anime doesn't seem needed to me
