Is Whatsherface seriously that important to warrant an OVA? On the bright side, at least the Golden exclusive events came be adapted. That's the important part!
Want my opinion? Not really. She's already pretty insignificant in the game. What I'm hoping is that Naoto is actually voiced by her game voice actress as opposed to Mary Elizabeth McGlynn's awfulness.

Naotos animation voice isn't that bad.
But I do agree it's a step down from the original, same with Chie.
It didn't fit the way her character was presented in the game, but then again that's because the overall writing and pacing wasn't that great in The Animation to begin with. I don't know about Chie, I like Erin well enough but I did prefer her original voice much more. Sam Riegel does a decent job of imitating Dave Wittenberg, I wouldn't have been able to tell them apart.
I know I've ranted about Chie's voice change enough but I will say that the Teddie voice change didn't bother me anywhere near as much personally. I might just hold off checking out the original series and wait til the Golden one is complete. That way they'll add in the Golden events and I won't have to necessarily look them up on youtube.
I'll more than likely still check out the original at some point though, since it's been mentioned here that certain scenes work very well in it (especially the big one for me).

You mean Vanilla Persona 4? Well, I don't think there's much point in that in comparison to vanilla Persona 3 & Portable where the story presentation carries a larger gap, I'd say.
Lol no -- The Valentine's Day event will obviously be with Zie boys!

Good to know then, Thank you Chris! I'll just stick it out til the OVA then. I mean I've waited this long, why not more.

Me and my friend are trying to decide what to watch next since we should be finishing up Psycho Pass this weekend. So far we have narrowed it down to Baccano or Paranoia Agent, anyone here that's seen both which would recommend one over the other?
BACCANO!
F*CKING BACCANO!
Alright, without bias...
Baccano is hardly straight forward. The story alternates through time-lines and can be quite hard to follow, but even so, you'll get the hang of it soon enough. The characters are key. They are absolutely f*cking brilliant, each and every one of them, and this is one where the dub actually helps alot. Why? Well, mainly for the accents xD
But if you're American, you might not appreciate it, since as a European I have no idea what an authentic 'accent' (the ones they pull off that is) means. But the dialogue is fantastic and there are so many quirky dudes.
Now to Paranoia Agent.
Paranoia Agent is deep. It's very psychological and every episode is meant to f*ck your mind up to the point where you don't know your left from your right. What I recommend is this: do not go into this show expecting a murder mystery case. This series explores the human mind and mass media, the 'murder mystery' is just part of the story.
I think if you want to discuss some 'deep sh*t' with your anime buddy, I'd recommend Paranoia Agent. You'll analyse it to your heart's content and will never get an answer.
If you want some great story-telling and some really great characters as well as a kickass OP, then go for good ol' Baccano! You can't go wrong with it.
Just look at that sexy opening, LOOK AT IT.... LOOOOOK AT IT
*sniff*
RESPECT IT!

Hehe, yeah will do!
I just started Roberta's Blood Trail. So i'll share my thoughts on it later
Awesome.
Rock really pulls the strings here, it's kinda amazing how he develops :-)

It has one of the best openings ever alongside Tank! -- Like Guy Richie & Tarantino had a baby. The characters are all formidable... and well, pretty much everything else you said. The un-chronological story-line keeps the pace from slowing down and clings tight to the attention of the audience.
YES
I CAN FINALLY GUSH OVER THAT OPENING!
I had this on repeat for an hour every day I went to the gym, so that's 6 days a week of just this song... for three weeks.
I tend to go overboard with everything I come to love. F*ck, I'm still obsessed with L after all this time
Do you have any idea what you've done to me! I..can't.. stop.. listening.. to it. How can it be so good! ![]()
You know what's a good read if you haven't seen it in awhile?
Ranma 1/2.
Ranma's a classic character. They don't make many like him anymore.
I'm happy they changed Chie's voice, Erin was much better and fitted the character far more for me.
As for the anime. I don't think it will be a complete take by take of the first anime, still would have rather had an Arena anime but as long as Troy and Naotos game va in the dub I'll be happy.
I freakin loved ranma 1/2 as a kid, it's definitely got that same absurd and over the top humour that KLK does.
Oh, not at all. KLK goes with over the top, not-even-pretending-physics-applies outrageous passion.
Ranma 1/2 is more about an incredibly chaotic blend of insanity, out-of-control love duodecadons, and crazy martial arts with magic.

MUAHAHAHHAHA xD
FMA:B is perfection.
FOR ME!
To put something THAT CLOSE to the LOTR trilogy (and I'm like a freaking huuuuuuge Tolkien nut) it HAS to be something special :-)

;-) Rock's an appropriate name. I'd be a rock every time I'm next to Revy xD
Oh, and I'm going through nostalgia feels here :-)
My first anime
I love Death Note, I couldn't give a damn about its flaws. It's the beauty that dragged me down this road to hell xD

I've certainly come to love it to almost crazy levels. The EVERYTHING is just so unreasonably good. Despite hearing how good it really took me by suprise
