8, probably. It isn't as sad as Clannad After Story prior to the ending, but it's far more bitter-sweet. What I can say is that its very human, despite the whole thing being based around a ghost.
It's only 11 episodes, so it's not that long an anime. So, if you have time to kill and really want to bawl your eyes out, I'd say go for it.

What's the music playing for the JoJo Statue Legend series ads that ran with ep ~20 til at least 25? Advertising Crazy Diamond, Killer Queen and a few others. Sounds riffy and reminds of Maximum the Hormone (of Death Note OP fame). Would really like to know. Unique background stuff.

I enjoyed the more personal Dio story more than the "ancient evil" type arc.
That said, the original American young Joseph was great. Though now that he's the hero-type, he seems like a mix of Speedwagon, Dio and his grandfather. Less of that "**** this" attitude that made the New Yorker Joseph great.
I liked Wamuu alot, not as much as Dio because, it's fricken Dio, but Wamuu was pretty dam good unlike his three boring companions.
Wham was pretty cool. Liked his fight with Caesar.

Though I didn't get the story behind Cars' name, it's apparently new wave American rock. AC/DC got a few good laughs out of me for the principle and fun of JoJo's naming convention.
Other than that, they were kinda boring.
But as I suspected, Dio is having a comeback. Pretty cool. I'm liking Jotaro Kujo as well. Though he also has the potential of getting too heroic and whatnot, the "shut up, mother" routine seems fresh from a character like him.

Yay! There actually is an ED. Tho Walk Like an Egyptian has worn out for me a long time ago, I guess it's fun and fits the main (?) location.
Not enjoying the new season - JoJo: Stardust Crusaders - as much as I'd expected.
Aside the obviously neat designs all-out, right now I feel that what started out with a cool B-movie vibe with Dickens' tropes and whatnot, then evolved into a fun and clever superheroes' flick with Hunter x Hunter tendencies has now been replaced with what I'd describe as YuGiOh meets Harry Potter meets Fist of the North Star. Which isn't bad with all that style built in, yet isn't as exciting as I'd hoped.
Like its music references would allow saying, this season is like the 80's. In music, that was a pretty horrid period, at least in my eyes. With some redeeming qualities though... some cool genres were born. 
The music in-series is worse too though. Lame orchestration in contrast with the eclectic cool oriental feat dubstep feat heavy of the previous title(s).

To be fair, Stardust Crusader was made way before things like YuGiOh, Harry Potter, Persona ect, all those series can be said to have been influenced from JoJo, more so the Stands. Remember, JoJo is a old series, it's been running since the 80s and has influenced alot of stuff.
Yeah. I know. And that's half the reason why I watch it. (though would be cool if someone started doing something alike nowadays)
And it is cool. Just that the third feels less awesome than the first two. Given, the anime is this year's. And the gripes I have are certainly not for the overall story or characters or not in any way the artwork. It's how this new season seems built into anime form plenty weaker in my opinion. Even in the pacing and how they've managed the fighting scenes. And I already mentioned the music.
Why I mentioned YuGiOh was because this simplistic slow-paced battle thing is a matter of animating it into that. Aside the obvious themes it and Persona or others share with JoJo, I'm more unhappy with how character-dialogue or shout-outs are presented. Liked that aspect better in the first two parts /first season.
The Potter mention is of course because of peculiar tropes, and yeah, don't really know why I mentioned that. Maybe to add to the explaining of why I don't feel hyped anymore. Tropes add to that, yet the main thing is probably how the studio handles pacing, (spoken) lines and music. And on what it concentrates. Right now the execution is similar to the less fresh types of series. Also, some aspects are more blatantly similar to Fist of the North Star in the third than was prior. The "atatatatatatatata" doesn't do much for me I'm afraid.
As to Persona, that series is usually better, showing more of characters and overall character and less of specific fighting moves and redundant explaining on-battle.
Yet to say it again, I felt this was handled better and with more fizazz in the animation of the first two parts. Was more... unique in the presentation and overall structure. So it *can* be better done I think.
