FMA I like it once I finish it I will start Brotherhood and yes I love comedy as long as it's intelligent comedy.
I don't know what can classify as intelligent comedy, but FMAB is ****** hilarious, hell, even FMA is hilarious if the clips I've seen are a good base to judge on.
The mangaka (learnt this word from Geth xD) is hilarious anyway. Her Silver Spoon manga is very funny in the same way FMAB is :-)

Watched episode 56 of FMA:B, only 8 left. Seriously considering watching all 8 tomorrow because all that i've been told about this arc has been 110% true. Absolutely loving it!

That's why I couldn't stand Evangelion bunch of teens piloting war machines capable of laying waste to a entire city lol. what the hell you going to do when puberty kicks in your screwed.
That's mecha anime for you. Although while it's my least favourite genre, paradoxically a bunch of my top 10 animes are mecha ones.
Not sure how worthwhile Fumoffu would be on its own, without the stage being set for it.
Meh, it works. Showed it to a few friends, they liked it well enough. You'll only miss the character backgrounds and a few visual cues (like the policewoman fight is a hillarious recreation of Sosuke vs. Gauron). But you don't need those to enjoy the rugby episode.

I never have watched Eva for the action or whatnot. It's philosophy and stuffs. Existentialism wanders into Hegelian searches for the absolute, and religious themes are played with and "advanced" to their full.
As to the annoying part of Eva - it's all dubs. If you somehow wandered into the English-speaking world of Eva, Shinji must have been annoying. And the show less meaningful. Much less.

I rarely if ever watch dubs, so it had nothing to do with my dislike (more like Hideaki Anno having a breakdown and Gainax running out of budget), but let's not go there. I have walked in on too many EVA flamewars to actually participate in one.

Oh, and I finished Silver Spoon... now to wait for it to update -.-
Good Himoru seems to be updating it every two weeks or so.
But still... >< I hate mangakas!!!
Oh, and I recommend it to anybody. It's a very down-to-earth Slice of Life with great characters, character development, comedy and a romance that is still developing after 100 chapters. It's seriously down to earth, no High School stuff we usually get 
Did I mention it has comedy? From Himoru... she's so freaking funny xD plus there's a nod to FMAB's Louis Armstrong with a teacher that comes in once in a while who's just like him.
Doesn't say a word, but he's ripped as fuaaark and huge...and he sparkles

Yupp it's NGNL. It's alright, it's not that amazing but i've absolutely seen worse stuff over the last few months. It's gotten better over the last 2 episodes where more context has been added to the world and it feel a bit better fleshed out. If someone got nothing to watch i'd recommend it

There're now only 4 episodes left for me in FMA:B, kinda bittersweet to be almost done with it but bajeeeeebus have it been a blast. Especially the last few episodes, so much awesome that it's hard to contain and enough awesome for me to absolutely consider dropping responsibilites. First thing when i get home tomorrow is to finish this. Mustang deserves it!
