Gintama has completely filled my Series time (currently @ episode 113) so I can't watch any other series. The characters are hilarious and the setting is awesome. What else do I need?
So the 2010 Space Battleship Yamato is a Japanese movie, not an anime... I might watch it soon.
Akira (1988) and Space Pirate Captain Harlock (2013) are also on my watch list.

About halfway through Gurren Lagann by now and with a decent amount of episodes behind me i can safely say it's a good anime but that it's not really capturing my interest as well as most of the other animes i've been watching over the last few months. It has certainly improved but it still got a long way to go before i start thinking of it anywhere close to KLK, AoT or obviously FMA:B! The inclusion of Nina has helped quite a bit and made other characters develop, got a lot of hope that she can keep developing this anime.

That's why it's cringe-worthy to some people. While some people watch the show, it's sort of like "Oh God, memories..no...no...no *close tab*"

Subs is the only way KLK should be watched.
I'm seriously rooting for a german AoT dub though. Now that would be the true way to watch AoT!

Considering the average german VO quality, the only thing that would accomplish would add one more casualty to the SnK franchise ... that being your illusion of german quality.

They will not even be close to have a voice that i can like as much as Nonon's and the others in the sub so wont even consider it. Like i've said before, the voices in KLK have been too iconic for me to actually be able to enjoy any other version, but if this bring more people to like KLK i'm just fine

Completely agree on the case where dub actors couldn't possibly match the original cast. It's funny cause when I was younger I'd always default to the dub, these days not so much. The only thing I plan to actually watch the dub over the original is going to be Black Lagoon. :3 Though I might check out the original cast there as well. That event is probably going to be amazing. *_*
On that note, Ryuko's VA is set to play Sailor Jupiter in Sailor Moon Crystal. That made me smile X3

Personal opinion inbound:
Anyone who watches anime, or any medium really, dubbed is a scrub and deserves to be eaten. And not by Satsuki, Levi, Misty or whomever's other fetish object. You just deserve to die in a most humiliating and cruel, cruel fashion!
