Starting Darker Than Black now... or I would, not sure dub or sub though. Any enlightened opinions?
The dub seemed fine to me.

Yeah, seems fine to me too. I like the setup so far with the Hell's Gate and the Chinese Electric Batman.

Oh yeah, it's just one of those moments that makes me go XD and then they start the next episode with the romantic love interest tripping and falling on the main character XD To be fair I only notice these things because everything else with the characterization has being top notch for me.
This is going right up there with Chihayafuru and Welcome to the NHK in terms of characterization. Just goes to show even a shorter series can make you love the characters if they are well done.
Also pictures or gtfo

From your choice of words, I'm inferring you haven't watched it yet. Come on, son.

I've watched a couple of the dubbed episodes. It's pretty dark. Maybe even, you know... Darker Than... *hangs self*

Oh and yeah Travis is Laura Bailey's waifu. Totes adorbz tbh.
It's not like I had a crush on her or anything, baka!
Better late then never, right? Are you excited for the remake coming out this year? :3
I know! I am insanely excited. This show was the first anime I ever really got into and it was my first quasi-fandom. When I heard about the remake, I was happy and excited because it's based on the manga which should be awesome. Then this news comes out and it's like, yes!!!
All I need is someone to reprint (not sure who has the license now...) Azumanga Daioh and I will be absolutely straight.

So I started watching Cowboy Bebop for the first time, it lives up to its legacy. Spike's a clever little bastard, and is probably my favorite "Sci-Fi Rapscallion" a la Han Solo. Almost like Tyrion with fistfighting
The setting itself, at least relative to anime, was definitely a trendsetter and has a very specific vibe to it.
The episodes are quite varied, bouncing anywhere from stories of tragic villains to walkin' a dog. Episode 4 makes me wonder if that inspired the futurama villain Mom. Suspicious. >.>
Anywho, it's been very satisfying so far and look forward to moar.
So how do I tell the idiot who got me into anime to watch Cowboy Bebop. A show he refuses to watch because it's old.
And I'm like.
Steve F*CKING BLUM!
I'm glad you're watching it though, Cowboy Bebop is smooth as fuaaarrrkkk. That show makes love to you, not the other way round. You're still a virgin if you haven't watched it basically.
Ah Cowbot Bebop! It's absolutely on the list of animes that i'll end up watching and perhaps i'll even watch it quite soon since i'm not that far off the end of Gurren Lagann. Got a few animes that i'm considering, Cowboy, Baccano, Black Lagoon, Claymore and Fairy Tail. Got at least a few dozen more on the line. Never been more happy to watch anime than now!

Just because something's old doesn't mean it gets old, and some creations are timeless. But it he absolutely won't watch it, not much you can do.So how do I tell the idiot who got me into anime to watch Cowboy Bebop. A show he refuses to watch because it's old.

Wouldn't the other way around be he-...oh forget it. Anyways, the dub's very satisfying, Steve Blum knows what he's doing. I've heard opinions all over the place on Fate Zero. What would you say are the pros and cons? That show makes love to you, not the other way round.

http://www.animenews...anime-franchise I think it's pretty safe to say that this is an amazing time to be a Sailor Moon fan, holy ****. This is in addition to Sailor Moon Crystal, so we're also getting a complete uncut re-dub of the original series and the first time Sailor Stars will ever properly appear in the US. The R, S and Super S movies are included in all this as well. The eight year old fangirl in me is probably having a moment. :')
I really like Gigguk's Eva Abridged, along with his reviews (comes off as a Anime version of Croshaw)These are great
And my list of anime to watch continues to grow. You guys are awesome I can spend as little as two minutes sciming this forum and find 10 new anime to watch lol so beast. I have started Black Lagoon, Cowboy Bebop, Spike is a bad ass his fighting style reminds of Bruce Lee. On a side note I would love for some recommendations for good anime movies to watch I'm a big sci fi fan anything with starships or post apocalypse will make me drool like a child in a candy store.
It's not space based but Akira was good.
I know my watch list only seems to keep growing larger rather then shorter. In the last half a year since I've picked anime back up I've watched about 40 animes give or take and I still have not even begun to run out of things to watch.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Shin Sekai Yori, Clannad, Fate Zero, Kill La Kill, Welcome to the NHK, Attack on Titan, Chihayeafuru, Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Chunibyo, Watamote, Fullmetal Alchemist (I don't care what any of you Brotherhood fanboys say, the original was good too), Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Samurai Champloo, and that one I always forget of for some reason (Scrapped Princess) are my favorites that I can think of so far.
I'd also add Berserk, Gantz and Akira to the list but mainly just for their mangas.
I've heard opinions all over the place on Fate Zero. What would you say are the pros and cons?
As in how the dub is or just the anime in general? I thought it was alright, its not on the list of my favorite anime ever, but it wasn't bad either. Though, I commend it for having a scene that haunted me for quite a few days. No anime has ever managed to do that with me.
Those who have watched Fate/Zero will probably know the scene I'm talking about ![]()

Had to check what i've watched after reading this comment and it's a decent amount, especially since i try to restrain myself a bit and not devour everything at once.
Sword Art Online, Free!, Log Horizon, Oda Nobuna no Yabou, Kill La Kill, Attack on Titan, Sengoku Basara season 1 and 2, Seitokai Yakuindomo season 1 and 2, FMA:B and K-On! season 1.
And these are only the ones that are fully complete, got a few ongoing ones aswell and yet this is just the very top of an endless mountain of animes
