Everyones talk about PMMM has given me more than enough reasons to put it possibly at the top of the "to watch" list. Something that has gotten that much acclaim is something i can't avoid watching. As soon as i'm done with Black Lagoon i'll dig into it and see if AnimusandAnima shall be known as the dark mistress ![]()

Oh I can't take credit for PMMM, Rah. Only as far as fangirling and being a general nuisance about it is concerned.

AnimusandAnima, the crusher of souls and hope
Will write Kaiba down aswell, got to kill all as much hope as possible in as little time as possible if i want to remain crazy ![]()

Holy f*cking ****, Isi. This stuff is dark. I haven't teared up (yet) but Jesus Christ, man! Now that I think about it, the first one was dark too, with them being just so pragmatic and calculative on which memory they should keep or throw away. F*cking hell, it's such a contrast to the actual style. It's like watching an old Disney movie made for adults.

Which episode are you on? Have you seen 3 yet? I won't lie, it doesn't get any less dark.. if anything it only gets worse.
This is a series I have trouble binging because of how dark it can get.

That's good :-)
The bad thing is that you're doing the same thing I did which was to burn through all the classics first xD but then again, you'll get an assh*le like Isi trying to destroy your emotions with great anime like Kaiba xD
After watching a few of this I'll need to carry on JoJo just to repair my heart.

Only got the last two episodes left of Black Lagoon: Second Barrage and chessus is this arc absolutely amazing. Belalaika is terrifyingly excellent at what she does and standing in her way is nothing else but foolish. Revy is obviously being what she always is and hell once Yukio took the righteous and pretentious stick out off Rock's behind and smacked him with it i couldn't help but like her aswell.

Haha yeah i've burned through quite a few classics by now and at least twice as many remain but i got a decent collection to pick from before i reach critical level. Got some quite animes with a bit of mixed opinions about them and some animes that i don't even know what they are about. Though i will need to save up a very happy collection once i decide to become the ultimate crazy and break every feel i can have with heartbreaking animes one after another

Like I mentioned before guys, Kaiba's storytelling technique changes after 7 so I'm actually rather curious to find out where you guys sit with it. A lot of folks disliked it, me personally I took it as bits of groundwork laying down to make the more inter-personal parts hit closer to home.
I kind of wandered into a vaguely burned out on watching stuff sort of mindset but I'll get back to it at some point so that I can get to BL. ![]()

Didn't cry on 3
Spoiler
Don't get me wrong. I understand why someone would cry, I was really moved by it :-)
P.S - episode 4 was more heart warming than anything else. Bittersweet, but heart warming all the same :-)

After watching a few of this I'll need to carry on JoJo just to repair my heart.
But there's no JoJo left for me aside from the weekly simulcast.
I'm doomed.

I'm half way through. So far my favourite episodes have been 3 4 and 6. God, 6's ending... you think you know a person...

You've nailed my favorite episodes exactly, just have to add 7, 10, 11 and 12 in there too. :3 I'm really happy to hear you liked 6, Sim. It often doesn't come up much in light of everyone being heartbroken over Chroniko's Boots, but it's definitely an episode that really got me, especially Gel's parting words.

Uh-oh, I better start watching moar now!
It's 5am here, so sadly I'll have to leave it there :-(
I'll stay awake 10more minutes then I'll probably wake up tomorrow on the floor mumbling about boots, plants and huge men who are actually girls.
I haven't watched any of those.
Sure, I'll give it a shot after Durarara and Black Lagoon.
Prepare thyself, mortal fool! For you shall weep bitter, bitter tears!
P.S
If you go for Clannad, once you reach episode 16 of Afterstory CONTINUE WATCHING. You will be dead inside, but continue watching, I implore you. You will not regret the sudden surge of happiness, that overwhelming feeling of sheer joy that just makes you want to grab a kitten and kiss it to death.
Oh you'll cry.
If you're anything like me (and I sh*t you not) you'll jump out of your bed/seat/sofa and just collapse on the floor and cry like a freaking baby.

Really? Awesome!
let's see if I actually put 7 10, 11 and 12 on the list there too, hehe. And yeah, Gel was an awesome character. A thing I loved about the episode was the whole coping with their bodies aspect.
And holy sh*t this anime is from 2008?! I thought it was one of those golden oldies xD - really brave stuff they pulled off there, considering how many would just shrug it off because of its art.
But before I go... a question about 2 and 6:

Sim:
Mhmm, 2008. I watched it in 2010 myself and then went back to it again this past weekend. That's one thing I adore about it though, if you don't look up the release date, they nailed the 70sish style so well that you'd figure it really was an oldie that went under the radar for so long.

Decided to check at least a few eps of Kaiba to see what all this fuss is about, even tho I'm juggling a few other things already.
I admit, the art style isn't really doing it for me. I actually kind of dislike it. There's a hint of magic there in the way it complements the opening and ending themes, though that could just be because of the strength of those themes. Otherwise... meh. But that doesn't stop the contents of the episodes from holding my interest at least.
The people in this world are just... dicks. Sheesh. This isn't a bad thing, it's just...
So yeah, it's pretty rough but I like it so far, weird art style notwithstanding.

I would be surprised if I do cry.
I mean, the only thing that has hit me with the "feels" in the last decade has been the tale of an artist with no arms.
It will be a nice experience.
