You seriously don't. I LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOOOOVE Hanji, she is weird, hilarious and badass at the same time. Romi Park got it perfectly. And it's awesome that she's Edward Elric.
I think I need to see a certain scene in the subbed version of FMAB just to compare it to Vic's. It's episode 26, the episode that had my respect for Edward blow out of proportion.
Watched it.
Prefer Vic's version but that's just because I've watched the f*cking thing 3 times so I immeditatley identify Vic's voice with Ed. But Romi Park was freaking amazing too :-)
They almost did too good of a job. If vic is in an anime now, it kind of ruins it for me. Because I can only hear Edward Elric. I'm not big on brotherhood to be honest. By the time it came out I had been religiously waiting/reading the scans of the manga, year after year. And when the manga ended it gave me the closure and wrapped up excellently.

I can not recommend Zipang.
It's pretty enough and the story itself would be interesting, if not everyone would run on insane troll logic. Sworn to defend innocents, wanting to end WW2 as soon as possible to minimize casualties, so the obvious solution is to ally yourself with a totalitarian, militaristic regime whose historic circumstances at the time hardly differiates them from Nazis, with all the atrocities that come with it, because they are Japanese?
Suddenly the mandate to defend innocents only extends to innocent, militaristic japanese and being used to further the war efforts of the regime is totally acceptable.
Load of BS.

Finished Bakuman.
What a f*cking ride. 176 chapters of two dudes trying to make it big on the manga market and for some goddamned reason you're hooked all the way through. I gotta admit, the "Tanto" arc dragged on because it felt the story wasn't going anywhere, but after that, it just gets better :-)
Really enjoyed it, but I don't think it'll be a manga for everyone.
Now what to read next? I'm leaning towards something serious like Vagabond, but maybe I'll just read Soul Eater and see the differences.

Oh dude, Vagabond is a really good read. I decided to randomly read it a few years back because I was bored and I ended up enjoying it.
