Have you watched the Kowai theatre clips and the special episodes for FMAB?
They're pretty awesome. Especially the Kowai theatre that is an absolute p*ss take xD

Horror anime.. not seen one of those in a very long while, will totally consider it. It would be a decent change and it does sound freakingly interesting! Kaiba.. i so want to see what it's all about but going after it already, gotta have that carrot dangling for a while longer. I got until tomorrow night to find the "right" anime so will keep on looking for whatever sound interesting enough. After i'm done with BL i'll try to see if i can find an anime that's not super different from it, ya know criminals, pragmatic and action. Something that's not super lighthearted anyway

And I have to admit, as far as western VA's go Steve Blum is definitely up there.

Roberta's Blood Trail was quite solid through and through and it really was a blast watching it all. It's a good end to Black Lagoon and now the only issue is that i want so much more of Black Lagoon and that even after all this i can't really get enough. I might end up re-watching this far sooner than i'd normally do unless i can find something that is reasonably close to it. Hard task but i'll be damned if i don't try! In the end these "two" characters is what totally captured me. Sorry Revy i really like you but these scare the crap out of me a bit more than you

If you want something remotley similar...
Jormungand. But you might be disappointed. It's the closest thing to Black Lagoon I've watched and the dub is solid too. But it's no where near as crazy and... well, the charm's not the same.
It's really good though, just no as good as Black Lagoon.

Morally grey, gun dealing, illegal stuff, politics, crime, war, child soldiers, human trafficking... it deals with all pretty well.
I really love KoKo she's the highlight of the series since shes... well, a monster and the most likeable person in the series at the same time. It's kinda hard to put a finger on her.
One of my favourite scenes in this is when they're trading with the Mafia and they try to buy her guns with cocaine and she's like "err... nope!" And proceeded to slaughter them (well only because they opened fire first.) It really showed just how ruthless, pragmatic but also sensible she is.
Koko also has a brother called Kasper and he's a f*cking laugh too.
She's also gay which is freaking fantastic because the bad-ass of the group (a Revy light) is her (kind of?) Girlfriend and it's hilarious to see how she fawns over Koko.
There's business Koko
And then there's cutey-pie Koko.
Again, she's a really great character with lots of sides to her. You'll love her and then be kind of weary about her at the same time.
Then ending will also make you question morality a WHOLE lot more than Death Note could ever do. The entire climax is leading to this ultimate plan, and in the end... it can either a few ways for the viewer.
You might hate it.
You might love it.
You might be disappointed.
You might be indifferent.
Personally it had me questioning why I continued to love Koko to the very end. Even after the bombshell she just dropped on everyone.

Sounds good enough for me. It's hard for me to believe that anything can beat Black Lagoon on its own turf but something that's similar might have a chance to keep me watching and if it does than super! If it doesn't then that's just what happens and i've been recommended a million animes that i otherwise can pick from so i'll probably survive, no promises though. Besides how can i not give such a cute smile a chance?

Oh, but nothing could compare to JoJo's humour. It's so out of this f*cking world man. I love Joseph man, he's such a troll. There's a bad guy called ACDC, now how's that for awesome?
Still missing Dio, though :'-(
Anyway, I caught up with Soul Eater. And daaaamn did they change a ton of things. And it's not like a few chapters after, it's like the moment that part in the anime happens, the next parts are just totally different.
And they're good changes too.

You can still read Wired Red Wild Card, the last arc in the Black Lagoon manga that didn't get animated.Roberta's Blood Trail was quite solid through and through and it really was a blast watching it all. It's a good end to Black Lagoon and now the only issue is that i want so much more of Black Lagoon and that even after all this i can't really get enough. I might end up re-watching this far sooner than i'd normally do unless i can find something that is reasonably close to it. Hard task but i'll be damned if i don't try!
