One of my fav anime OPs
Funny thing is I didn't like it at first.
But after the third episode in the arc it grew on me so much that I ended up loving it.
Especially the part where you see JoJo and Ceaser just fighting xD that part is so bad-ass :-)

It's hard to find info about the status of this manga too, it seems to be on hiatus?problem is it's still ongoing and hasn't finished >< :'-(
They did just release a new volume with all the Wired Red Wild Card chapters so far.

I think it's mostly because going from Johnathan to Josepth was a big leap. Both are totally different characters with both their arcs also being different and their OPs show this perfectly.

It is on hiatus I think. There hasn't been an update in a year. Unless it's being released in Japanese and not in English...
But I hardly know anything on manga, that's something Geth would know xD
I just read them
(but I did learn tons from Bakuman.)

Yup, agreed. I found Jonathan too much of a goody-goody (though I did feel sorry for him in the end.) This is why I loved Dio so much, he was such a contrast and big factor on my amusement.
Loved Speedwagon and still do. For some reason he just makes me laugh xD

The sad thing about Johnathan is he only becomes interesting after the fifth episode and he still felt overshadowed by Dio. Joseph on the other hand never feels overshadowed by Ceasar, the pillar man, Lisa Lisa or German Guile ![]()

Yeah, exactly! And the good thing is that Joseph's larger than life attitude is balanced out perfectly with his general goofiness and his good heart.
Unlike someone in freaking Soul Eater than I couldn't f*cking stand -.- *cough* Black Star *cough.*
@Puddi
ROFL that was fantastic xD

I got through the first six episodes and they were all pretty good, it's just... a hard show to watch. Not because it's too feelsy or whatever-- I think it's just the style of it. Everything is so simple and abstract. I just can't get into it. I know that's probably superficial and all, but that's how it stands at the moment.

It's been hard for me to get through Kaiba tbh.

I think you should shoulder through the next 6. Just for the story's conclusion really, it is quite the experience :-)

For me it goes.
Joseph>Josuke>Jolyne>Jotaro>Johnny>Jo2uke>Jonathan>>>>>>>>>Giorno
For the main villains it goes.
Dio>Funny Valentine>Kira>Pucci>Cars>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Diavolo

meh I liked Jonathan more than I like Jotaro, but Joseph is by far the best. Also not a fan of stands, I much prefer when they where using Hamon.

So decided to go with Jormungand and the first two episodes carry a lot of promise that it will at least be an amusing ride and perhaps even a memorable one. Really do like how it distinguish itself from what i saw in Black Lagoon with some very adorable silly. So far all of it can be credited to the one wonderful lady with the delightful smile

Vanilla. Didn't like him at all cos he was just a sleezy bastard. Until the end that is.
Oh, and Rah, glad you're enjoying it. It does get a lot more into the 'crime' bits later on. What did you go for? Sub or dub?
And Koko is amazing. I suspect we will be gushing about her in the future.

Yeah, they really did xD
But it's kind of hard to feel bad for him. Screw Butters, but that girl didn't deserve it.
Oh, and got to episode 20 of JoJo

It's a brilliant action anime, but don't expect much from Koko's secret plan/ambition. You can disregard it for the great action, but if you start thinking about that plan of hers, it makes literally no sense at all.

Sooo I finished Kaiba. I had to drag my feet through the first six episodes but the last six came easily.
I feel like I might have missed something because I don't have any particularly big questions to ask after watching, it seems like they explained most of the stuff.
I don't have much to say about it to be honest, but I did quite like it, after I got past to the art style. (which, as all my grousing has shown, took quite a while) Interesting characters who, even for the ones I hated, I ended up feeling bad for when they died, or when I thought they died, as the case may be.
I think you guys might have said something nice about Popo earlier though? Yeah, eff that. ^^

Got to EP 16 of Zipang.
Great watch.
One thing that irks me is that the Mirai seem to tell everything about itself to almost every japanese they meet, but they are very slow to actually communicate with US troops, and when they do it's usually in threats and warnings.
It never occurred to them to try a more friendly tone?

More shows need the kind of humor these two Salior Moon screens do.
Hehehe.
I love it how Sailor Moon Abridged (which gives Jupiter a mans voice), has her mumble to herself in that scene "I wish I had me one of those!"

Also not a fan of stands, I much prefer when they where using Hamon.
There was only so much you could do with a sun based ki/martial arts.
The Stands are more iconic anyways. And there will be much more interesting and better Stands as the series keeps going, they end up being the best battle power system thing in all of manga.

Like I said, the crew of the Mirai is running on insane troll logic.
Really the only worthwhile thing to this anime is the Mirai kicking the ever living shits out of the naval aviation torpedo squadron that tries to attack them.
Only one deck cannon indeed.

I don't know about that. Is is kind of insane, though. But then again...
It also does the whole gun-trading and other bits well too (characterisation, development, war, business etc...) To rub it off as just an action anime is spitting on its grave xD
But the action parts ARE done brilliantly.
