I always had a feeling that the creators of Bully La Bully generally went into the design of the characters with the simple mindset "Try pull this one off, cosplayers".

I tend to obsess over anything I love. LOTR, ASOIAF, Foundation etc... shallow, comedy, deep whatever, if I LIKE it I LOVE it. It's a side effect of having my head in the clouds all the time. And it's only creepy if you don't agree. If I knew more about 40K Lore, I bet we'd both gush about things that everybody else would dismiss as dumb xD

 

I think one day I'll end up in a mental institution. But oh well! xD

I am not that type of fan.

I do not collect pointless memorabilia, I do not plaster my walls with posters, I do not have a bed pillow with the image of my obsession or shelves racked with figurines and DCs/DVD's. Anime (and everything else I like) is just another thing that I don't raise a big fuss about.

I don't collect/paint 40K figurines either. Maybe I would if there was a bigger plyerbase here or if they weren't so rediculously overpriced, but so far I've only played 5 matches of 40K... via PC. I'm basically in it for the fluff, which is often (as it always is in huge works) crappy.

 

We could discuss SOME points/aspectes of 40K that peak my interest, but not much does these days.

 

I guess once you see enough, things that excited you when you were younger loose their impact. Not completely, but characters I only a few years ago considered "cool" Now come of as "meh" or "horrible, how did I ever like this?".

 

Such is for many of the anime archetypes like a cute loli, quiet emotionless girl, "badass" psycho, etc..

I prefer my gym partner. We're benching 100kg+ whilst gushing about how cute Yuno is xD or like the time we spoke about that chick dressed as L in the convention we went to. Damn, what I would do just to go back there and try to get with her. Then I could proudly say "I f*cked L."

Anime is a great help when i'm out and running, for every anime i complete the soundtrack list i take with me is a bit different and i just get so much better results with them going on in my ears. The power of anime!
