Yoko is something like 14, at least before the jump. Ryuko is 17. Isi's Hameru is 14. etc.

I'm more of a Sayaka kind of guy but I hear you.

I always laugh when someone brings up age or sex as being an issue for them. You know it is possible to like a character for reasons beyond wanting to have sex with them, right? You would think if these people actually had an issue with the over-sexualized characters in anime they would go after fan service and the actually questionable content.. But nope "it has a bunch of young girls in it" is enough to judge it.. Incredibly weak and ignorant standards tbh.

I admit I do enjoy watching Rah and Sim gushing back and forth. They're both my type of nerds

Saw this hot cosplayer one year at Otakon. And the character is 48 before the time skip and 50 after the time skip. But this is him before the time skip so he is 48. And that means there is nothing wrong with this hot fantasy.

JoJo's Bizzare adventure was an anime I was kinda 'yeah it's funny' but nothing else... then came f*cking JOESEPH JOESTAR and turned everything around.

It did a Clannad on me. Well, not to that extent, but when he came at the funeral I was laughing AND crying at the same time. The Joseph arc was bloody brilliant and I loved every single moment of it. No, just every single thing of it. The music, the characters even the wacky story line. And above all else, was JoJo. I don't think any other JoJo reincarnation will live up to him seeing as everybody already thinks he's the best.

 

Oh and also...

The final battle when the old intro music came up. That was one of the coolest f*cking moments in any anime ever! And the last scene too, where he kicks the Japanese kid then walks away playing the music from the second opening. Damn that was awesome

...I can't think of a context more relevant to that particular reason than this discussion, though. You don't see me randomly hating on Madoka just because the characters are young girls.

It was a little petty to single you out like that, I just remembered you talking about how sexy Homucifer's outfit was, sorry.

 

Don't worry about it, that part was not entirely directed at what you said, it's just an issue that comes up here more then it should in regards to discussing animes that deal with a cast of having younger/female characters. Its a huge pet peeve of mine and I admit I probably get ranting on about it too easily, at the very least I shouldn't have made it sound like that was directed completely towards you, or at least have acknowledged the context (which was clear enough) that you were using it in, so I'm sorry about that.

 

In regards to Homura if your talking about what I think your talking about then I'm pretty sure I was mostly gushing over the specific piece of fan art, that said I do find the Homucifer outfit amazing although in a very similar way that I find Kerrigans look and character design to be awesome. I will point out that there is someone in this thread that is much more obsessive with Homura then me, but ah well I don't particularly mind being singled out neways.
