So, to come back to other anime out there.
I decided to put Clannad on hold - In fact, i'm actually thinking of dropping it. I'm enjoying the characters, but after the first 2 arcs it feels as if the sole purpose of this entire anime is to make the viewer cry.
Now I did get teary eyed during the first arc, but right now its not doing anything to me. Which makes it all quite bland tbh...

Plus how can you consider dropping it man! Tomoya is like the nicest dude on Earth and Akio is the coolest dad in the history of father-hood xD

And it's even worse for us book readers. Cos we've seen more great characters die than they have :'-(

GoT viewers are a blight. They even have the title all wrong. ASoIaF FTW. I read Joffrey being slapped and poisened LOOOOOOONG before them bloody TV peasants even had the chance to build a healthy disgust for that brat.
