Oh not that. *Adds to list* I was asking Art if he only wanted finished ones or if he was fine with ongoing.

Ah you mentioned that.
The manga is still ongoing so I'll not watch it :-/ too bad, I bet I'm missing out. But I already got too many on my 'manga that needs updating' bookmark file.

Well my favorite on going anime is Chaika the coffin princess/Hitsugi no Chaika. It is very pretty art wise. (Although when the camera is looking from afar it looks bizarrely low quality) The action is bad-ass with traps, sword-fights and magic all being used and all the characters have flaws combat wise. It's funny as hell and it's surprisingly morally gray and mysterious.
It could be a favorite of mine if it keeps things up.

Hitsugi no Chaika sounds fun enough.
I reckon it's also your current avatar, correct? Will see how it goes.

Yep that's Chaika and her magic sniper rifle.

Chaika is one of the animes that i've got ongoing besides Black Bullet and No Game No Life. What i'd say Chaika got going for it is the art style and that it take place in a world that really doesn't know what direction it want to move in. The characters are enjoyable and Chaika herself can be insanely adorable when she want to. The storyline has been both interesting and dull so far. It's enjoyable but got so much unused potential
Black Bullet is probably the anime i've enjoyed the most of the ongoing but No Game No Life is making a serious attempt to change that. Black Bullet got just like Chaika an art style that i really appreciate with a lot of colour and and suprising amount of variety. It got awesome action sequences that are greatly animated and really utilize the world it take place in. Character wise it does fantastic, my former avatar came from this anime! Good character development with a protagonist that feel alive and evolving. The storyline has been good most of the time. Black Bullet i feel use more of the potential than Chaika at the moment but both animes do promise a lot in the future
No Game No Life i could easily write an essay or two about this anime but if anyone hasn't watched it or are just waiting for it to end this season.. for me this is a must watch!

I've just began watching no game no life it's really interesting funny too but i'm worried it's going to suffer from having perfect protagonists who can solve every problem. I still have black bullet on my to do list but I've heard it's amazing.

I feel the same, they are absolutely awesome now but if they get to steamroll everything because "Blank never lose" then some excitement will absolutely be lost. Hopefully the creators can find ways to give them obstacles in a world where games decide all. BB is amazing so you'll have something really awesome to watch when you pick it up

They do have a flaw thankfully. They only work well as a team, if they get forced to play separately with no contact they could be complete screwed.

World's best dish. It even has the most powerful name: Khatsu-Dum!
Hataraku Maou-Sama is easily among the best slapstick/comedy/daily-life anime I've seen so far. Simply hilarious. I also feel a need to buy an old, run-down bike and name it Dullahan.
Well then, Hitsugi no Chaika up next.

Good thing Hataraku Maou-Sama has only thirteen episodes (the anime at least, the light novel has a bit more content), so it's a quick fix.

Good. With an exception of FMA:B (I should probably get back to that) i've been trying to stick to smaller stuff.

You know how it feels to check your SnK/AoT bookmark just to see that it's still in chapter 57?
^ GOT S3 spoiler. I bet you can guess what it is.

Wait for me, bro. We'll gush together as we do now with KlK. Once it's finished that is ![]()

NGNL is really the only one I'd consider 'must watch' this season, the rest are pretty meh or at least inconsistent. Some good OPs tho.

I've heard mixed things about NGNL, I'll wait until its over and see if it might be something I'd enjoy.

Phi is awesome in a mysterious way.. She obviously knows a lot more about what's going then she's letting on. She's easily the most interesting character so far, and probably my overall favorite.
Dio is an *******, I just want to slap him although I admit he can make me laugh from time to time.
I'm almost completely convinced K has to be someone from a previous Nonary game although I don't have any evidence for that or guesses as to who it could be (It would be cool if it was like Junpei though) I did notice both him and Phi seem to be able to jump like 10 feet in the air which sort of has me wondering.
I also have to laugh at the fact Clover has taken part in 3 Nonary games so far. Some people just have no luck
Hopefully I can hit one of the character endings tonight, so far I've only really picked ally on all AB rounds so it will be interesting to see how things go down when I start picking betray.

Its really great if you like character driven stories and/or theoretical science.
I'd personally give 999 a 10/10
Edit: or I guess I should say a 9/9
