I was a lucky bastard and had Japanese class in highschool, so I used to know a lot of otaku girls.

 

They loved Naruto and InuYasha, poor souls. Although it was a while back, shows with bishonen guys to attract the ladies were all the rage then.

Iono I thought InuYasha was decent. Admittedly it's probably not even in my top 25 animes but I enjoyed it. Not a terrible dub either from what I remember.

InuYasha had the same problem that all Rumiko Takahashi series have.

 

They make for a great 10 to 15 volume series but then they go on for 30 something volumes or in the case of InuYasha over 50 volumes.

 

Her series just don't work going on that long.

 

 

 

Oh and the InuYasha anime had pretty good j-pop opening and ending themes.

So I watched the first 2 episodes GITS Arise, and it surprised me.  I really enjoyed it.  I'm a big fan of the movie but could never get into the TV show the few times I've tried to watch it, so I wasn't expecting to enjoy so much.  I'm really looking forward to the next one.

This weeks Black Bullet episode was alright, quite liked it. It never really had a chance against last weeks though.

Now to finish PMMM, oh sweet mother of mercy i will have feels right? 

Will watch the Rebellion movie at some point this week, not tonight though.. even i sleep at some point

What can i say? That i had enough feels to cover the universe ten times over? Or that the last two episodes cement one fact with me, that PMMM is the best thing that i have ever seen in anime and absolutely one of the best things in any media. Just absolutely perfect for me, got no complaints and almost nothing that i would consider needed a bit of tweaking. Really happy that i got experience this and that i ended up liking it as much as i do.

Been trying to write something more but i'm having trouble really finding the right words and just end up with perfect, perfect, perfect. I have to end this with a gif, that was obvious all the way. Picking the right gif..

The only complaint I had is that it could have been longer, so they could have better time to drive some points home

Specifically a little bit more explanation of Kyouko's and Sayaka's relationship, so it's a little more foreshadowed.

 

But really, I wouldn't even know how to begin to correct that.

Great animation.

But the movie doesn't know where the hell it's going. Sub-plots and characters pop up only to be forgotten.

Some characters are REALLY repetitive (like the mobster). He keeps bringing up the same question over and over and over, like he has dementia.

 

And the stupidest thing of all - Roboplanet..or whatever it's called. So a racing federation just decides to hold the race on their planet, without asking?

On the planet of a race that is advanced, militaristic, highly teritorial and hostile to to the idea of racing?

And they go trough with the race, even after said planet declares publicly it doesn't want them there and it will shoot them if they enter their space.

 

Then said racing organization and a dozen of races make a compelte mockery out of ENTIRE PLANETS military force...whose "secret" weapons are apprently known to everyone and easily acessible. Their security is such a joke that 2 races can sabotage their super-weapons with ease and a bunch of miners can break into their secret laboratory.

It reaches a level of stupid incompetence and WTF that is too stupid to even laugh.

 

Haha. Yeah pretty much. One think though, I thought the Robo people had seceded that planet for whatever reason but then got pissed off when the planet was basically used as a refugee haven or something.

I can imagine much worse flood gates that can open, the gushing ones are quite awesome so i'm happy to kick them open and the slamming heads to keyboards is absolutely a very valid way to express gushing. Will totally lend my voice to the screaming hurricane because everyone should know just how worth watching PMMM is. Viva la PMMM!

Really I've been quiet lately cause this damn cold won't go away (I'm convinced it's progressing into an ear infection or some **** cause I can't really hear out of my left ear currently >_<) and I've been trying to make myself vaguely scarce since folks are working on PMMM and you know, my sig is kind of a huge Rebellion spoiler. So yes, I'm alive, kind of working on SnK (finished 5, going to start 6 if today allows me to) and very happy that Rah has entered our fold. :3 Be a good boy and completely divert your eyes from my signature til you're done the movie, okay? X3

 

I know it might be weird to apologize for not being around much but you guys are my pals so I don't want you to think I've bailed or anything. It's mostly just the cold and offline frustrations that's made me all hermity. :S I'll try to be around more and actually make some noises about SnK as I go on. I still have some replies to give too so I'll go digging for those.

And don't worry about not being around as much as you might like, i at least wont be going anywhere anytime soon! Found my love for anime again and this time i'll defend it much more than ever before. Sometimes stuff just get in the way. Take the time to get BETTER and take the time to do what you need to do. We are pals after all and pals can wait!
