The end of the Ant arc. Holy Hameru am I so beyond dead right now. Gonna go die again just to be sure. Gahhhhhhhhh.
Really, I don't care if you start at the Ant arc, just watch it nao pls. Pls. Are you still there? Just do it. Pls.
Really, this is a spoiler though.

Simfam, after you finish LOGH, don't forget that there are movies and other short LOGH series that go into more depth on some events and time periods of the main show.

I'm one of the people crazy enough to actually try that stuff. That i might die is.. of a lesser concern ![]()
Almost done with all of Chuunibyou season 2 and when i'm done with it i come out of the best time in anime so far. PMMM and Chuunibyou is not a combo that just anything can compare to. Will have to see if i can find anything that can take after it. Impossible after PMMM and feel this task is about as hard.

That's so sweet that i might just explode in d'aaaaaw! Rikka is just so insanely cute ![]()
Been trying to see if i can find more light hearted animes that share some of the crazy that i've found in Chuunibyou, Seitokai Yakuindomo or K-on. A massive amount of animes, now if it only were as easy to pick one ![]()

Hmm... light hearted and adorable?
I can't think of any you haven't watched that I have. And to be honest, I haven't watched many like Chuu... there's Chobits, but it's not worth the 20+ episodes. It's nice, but not great.
Honey and Clover? It's like the Code Geass of Romance (or so I've heard) meaning it's one of those things you just have to watch. But I haven't watched it so I can't tell you any more than that, bro.

Can never have too much of this.
And yeah don't think i'll find anything like Chuunibyou for quite a while. There are billions of light hearted to pick from though and maybe some of them might even be good!

Awww Puddi, no repeated dying allowed. :c Your partner in crime has sold me on HxH so I'll probably be starting it once I work through all of current Jojo, so I'll get back to you on that despair later.
I didn't make as much progress on Battle Tendency as I would've liked last night thanks to being insanely tired but I did complete 21. I'll try and chip away at it a bit more tonight. It also makes me sad to know that it's almost done but then I figure I at least have Stardust Crusaders to shift into afterwards. :3
Little PMMM ramble that's not really a ramble at all. One of my friends on Tumblr posted a video today that's basically Chiwa Saitou's original take with Homura (from the caught you scene going forward til the end) compared against the take they went with in the final film. Obviously spoilers in this video:
Being the sort of critter that pays far too much attention to tone of voice and such, there's some fairly interesting points I could make about the original cut. Specfically:

Restarted my watch of LOTGH after 2 days of FMAB only... episode 26 and BAM - someone dies. God Reinhard looks like he's going to Macbeth it :-(
ETA: Ah good, he's being smart about it. If you're going to turn 'bad' in a sense, don't become Macbeth, become Tywin Lannister.

I was going to write something about Kyousougiga. I ended up liking it a lot. It's only 10 eps, but they're all pretty concise and without any pointless fluff (except the episodes outside of the main 10). Basically... a nice human story about a surreal family in a surreal world. I thought all the members of the family and their respective stories were developed pretty well for such a short time. Apparently there are some references to Greek myth in there but the main things I got were the Alice in Wonderland theme and some Buddhist philosophy. Though one of the quotes sounded more Confucian to me... maybe it's a syncretic thing. Or I'm getting my isms mixed up.
The art style and tone of the show overall is pretty colorful and crazy fitting the Alice in Wonderland feel, and I loved the music too. At least this one really stood out:
But I am a sucker for rock orchestra. That violin and guitar at the very end~
I'd recommend it, in any case. The ONA (episode 0) is basically like a manga one-shot, it seems, so the anime retells it and some of it seems to play out a little differently. Episode 5.5 and 10.5 are pretty much fluff, though there's some kinda interesting trivia in 5.5 about some of the Buddhist themes. 10.5 is just a recap.
ps. 2013 had some stiff competition for anime parent of the year with Ragyo, but this Inari puts in a decent effort himself.

10 points for the reference to 1970's experimental-glam-rock-sensation-David-Bowie in that FMA:B outtake, and one of his/the greatest songs ever.
