Deadman Wonderland is good if you like stories that stop right in the middle with no even attempt at a conclusion. Just a preview for part 2: Go Read the Manga.
I guess it's only because it did poorly in Japan, and stopping in the middle because of that is an affliction certainly not unique to this anime.

Of course there's the king of all crapsack world manga/anime, Berserk.
I'm hesitant to watch it because the manga is still ongoing and the last anime was in the 90s... but dat Forces.

Yeah I was unprepared for the the puppy incident. I'm not sure I want to watch it lol I'm just not that twisted I guess. Reminds me of Kick Ass 2 when Mother Russia asks Mother Fucker if he wants her to kill the dog and he replies "The dog? No **** I'm not that evil".It's always horrible when its a dog.

I have actually watched Another and yes it's ****** awesome. As for the comment of Geth lol I have no idea. I think I have watched When they Cry, does it involve a certain shrine and a curse and death by a certain neck related injury?When they Cry.

There are two seasons. Basically the 'question' arc and the 'answer' arc. Both are fantastic, but the first season might confuse you as they present the same story multiple times in different directions. But worry not IT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING in the second.

There's also 'Another' if you want something five times better than Final Destination and lots of gory deaths.
Believe it or not When they Cry always starts off as a REALLY funny comedy in the start of each of its arcs, but then slowly descends into the darkest depths of the human imagination.
Basically something similar to Geth's arse crack.

It really is just that one bit. I think it's the goriest moment in the series. It's a shame you should avoid it, because it seriously is brilliant.
And a plague of dogs? That sounds awesome!

P.S Legend of the Galactic Heroes has proved more gory in the final battle of the second arc. Intestines coming out, brains splattered. I mean, serious stuff. And this anime wasn't even gory to begin with in the first 50 episodes. But then again, the narration over the events served to prove a point.

This is why you should not post gifs that spoiler things that shock the viewer and stuff like that.
You have to trick people into watching these shows like a true friend would.
Not that Higurashi is good because it's not.
But you get what I mean.
If you must spoiler something to get a person to watch something, or just to f**k with them do what I do. Tell them about a random iconic moment.
See people have no clue if I am joking or not when I say Code Geass had a lesbian f**k a table or seeing c-u-m in End of Eva.
What I say adds a high level of curiosity and what you might call hype.

By the way not that it's really like those other two movies but I first saw Barefoot Gen at age 5. Might have been 4 or 6 I really forget.
I love that movie now but oh my god the nightmares I had as a kid haha. Luckily I believe I missed the nuke scene as it happened but I did see what happened right after. yeesh
Now the movie just makes me sad. A really hard film to watch. I do recommend it though it deserves at least once a watch from everyone. But again if you can't handle seeing stuff like this I really don't blame you.

Barefoot Gen sounds a lot like Grave of the Fireflies. (vice versa I guess) I watched that movie on accident. It was a really depressing accident.

I've seen both, but seeing as The Plague Dogs is more violent and all around more depressing than Watership down, I used it.
Also it's a play on "Avoid it like the plague" because I think I'm funny.

Yeah Grave of Fireflies is pretty damn depressing, I actually had to watch it in small segments. I understand why they felt they had no choice but to drop Fat Man & Little Boy at the time but it still angers me a great deal.
